I went to Passion and there, inspired by the word of God through music and sermon, was changed by God. The music, in fact, was a challenge for me because I prefer hymns. However, fellowship with believers is so important. The saints spent their lives encouraging groups of believers to continue on in faith and maintain the church.
This is the kind of song that God has truly sent Himself into. You hear the song and you just feel His presence, His love, His touch, His everything. It's a blessing in the form of a song that you can just sit in your bed, listen to, and just simply worship to on your own.

As good as her voice is, the triumph here is in the arrangement. Honestly, the lyrics are good, but nothing overly innovative. But the ebb and flow of the music, ending up in that powerful climax chorus and the "easedown" to the end is just fantastic.

If you're not touched by this song, you need to listen again. I was fortunate enough to be @ Passion 2011 in ATL when this performance was done. I can't explain the feeling I got with this song, except AMAZING chills! I have flashbacks everytime I hear it of the power of Christ just swarming the whole arena that night. Today was a very difficult one for me. You see I was abused as a child. Satanic and witch craft exposure. I had a session with my Theophostics facilitator. The Holy Spirit came in and took out what the enemy had put there for over 58 years of my life. When I left the session and got in my car I was exhausted. Liz told me that I should just praise the Lord for what He had done for me today. This song was on the radio when I turned the key. Only the Father of Lights does that for His Own.

I absolutely love this. She is acknowledging our dependence on God alone. What really gets me, is she sounds just as good live as on her recordings. She is a real talent, they didn't have to doctor up her voice in the studio.

I don't appreciate the ads at all. I wish they would all go away. There's nothing good in any of them. But, I think your point was that the vodka ads are especially misplaced and inappropriate with this song, and to that I agree whole-heartedly, as I'm sure Christy would as well.

it must b nice 2 worship along Christian Stanfield n Chris Tomlin n d passion band, but it seems Chris time's coming 2 an end, they should also keep d tempo when it sounds like techno cuz it sounds great up beat, I know it sounds weird but if u didn't pay attention 2 d lyrics it sounds like a Katty Perry songs

This video was top notch. I cannot get enough of watching it literally. The presence of God is in it and it draws one into an intimacy that we all as believers should desire to experience. Absolute praise - absolute submission and worship unto Him who is our Creator, our Lord, our Savior, our Messiah, our everything. I am impressed to no end. I absolutely love this. She is acknowledging our dependence on God alone. What really gets me, is she sounds just as good live as on her recordings. She is a real talent, they didn't have to doctor up her voice in the studio.

check out the guy with his hands beside him praising after all the allelujahs and she breaks back into chorus at about 4 mins and 45 secs.. everytime i see him i about tear up.. this song is amazing.. what a priveledge and blessing it would have been to have been able to be at this concert.. i said the same thing about the mighty to save video by michael w. smith.. :)

@drewh1979 Friend, music and the performance is not the focal point of church, Jesus is. Going to church should not be about the music and the lights and etc, but to stand in awe in front of Jesus and give our submission to him.

@drewh1979 I agree, i am an audio engineer (and a mechanical engineer) as well as electric guitarist for my church. I know the importance of quality and staging and all the other stuff. But according to your original comment, you don't go to church often beacuse churches are not like this. If this is not what you meant, maybe you should have reworded your comment. Your comment "Getting people to follow Christ" is about attracting people to church, but I am focusing on YOU.

I have never listened to a song over and over the way I do with this song. It has a special place in my heart. It brings me to a heart of worship in the middle of the day at work. I have viewed videos on here before. However, this song moved me so much to create an account to share how I feel about it. This song is based on scripture as some have already posted. Thank God for Christy and the ones who God allowed to pen it on the music sheets. God loves when He is worshiped and adored and as so many wonderful comments have been made to His honor and glory. Also, it doesn't look like she's lip syncing to me. God bless to my brothers/sisters in Christ. We will wait for Him.

You see I has heard it on the radio right after a very difficult therapy session where the Holy Spirit revealed things to me that only He could do. This song gave me peace for the rest of that day and now I meditate on these words that could have only come from the Heavens its self

God reaches into my soul every time I hear this song. I feel a strong physical burning in my chest…a desire to be with him and to know him. I can’t truly explain the feeling…you just have to experience it. To see so many people worshiping brings tears to my eyes. Praise God!!!
