The old configuration wasn't as scary as it is now with the walls.

We still race there, but I miss the dip. If you went off 20 years ago, you had till the tree line to get whoaed up or to gather up the car. Now it's," Oh, Sh." WALL

my dad was a fireman there for Dave Sloyer in 1969-1970 .i was 10 years old at the first race also attended Petitt Lemans in 2010 with a hundred races in between.Not as many as Capt.Martini but been there longer...

I was introduced to Oscar once by Donna Hubble who owned the Slot Shop in Elyria,OH. My team was racing 4 MK8D's in the Ohio Challenge Cup,all painted "oscar"red,with the slot track painted in as well. That was a very cool moment in my life!!
