@rjwardin i play viola and you can do it 2 ways: first off, the notes are the same. So you could 1) play it an octave lower starting with first finger G string. Or 2) play with a shift to third position on the A string. :)

So you play open A, 3 fingers on A, Open E, 1 finger on E, open E, 3 fingers on A, 1 finger on A, Then slide C# to D.
