How would I get the national dex in this game? It won't let me evolve my Tailow :/

@ThatOnePokemonKid I'll do my best to explain it. First of all, you need to either get the tea in celadon first or use some wall hax to get past the guards because a side effect of this cheat makes it impossible to get the tea. for this you will need a clean FR rom and FR 386 with your save file. make a copy of your save file, move one copy into were you keep the clean FR rom and rename it the same as the clean rom. run the clean rom in your emulator, and enter a building and leave. @MegaMetal96 This will apply all of the settings of the clean rom. you now have your team, items, etc in plain old FireRed. now use the gameshark code to get the national pokedex. once you have the national pokedex, save your game with a save state, copy your file back into FR 386, rename it, an run it. enter a building and leave, like before. You are now playing pokemon FireRed 386 with the national pokedex! believe me, it's a lot easier than it sounds. Hope this helps!

@MegaMetal96 I see thank you. But, I actually used an AR code AND still got the tea. The AR code actually worked after my Tailow gained another level and it evolved.

Great video, Is this game just like the Pokemon Emerald 386 where the trainers have higher level Pokemon and able to catch all 386 Pokemon?

@GamerDudeJustin91st NPC's have all the same pokemon as in normal fire red, but otherwise yes. Emerald 386 will be something in my future, after some non-pokemon related things.

In this gen all grass moves are special, so withdraw was useless :s

@mistatipsta You can just search "Pokemon Fire Red 386 download" on google and come up with the IPS patch, and then just use the IPS patching software (also free on Google) and Patch it to a clean Pokemon Fire Red rom and it will play like any other rom.
