Before you apply, make sure the top of the "brush" is in shape and not like "rumpled". If you got problems applying a clean line with it, try using your little finger as support by laying it down on your cheekbone to get more stability. Also, don't forget to pull the skin of your eyelid up to get a smooth underground to work on.
Hope that helps and sorry for my English, I'm no native speaker :)
i am amazed how you can speak so clearly and describe everything without making a lot of mistakes... clearly you don't need to edit anything out! i've learned so much by watching your videos and talking through absolutely everything.
Hi Risa. First of all I want to tell you that I love all of your tutorials; watching them has helped me improve my own personal style. I was wondering if you could perhaps do a quick video on brushes. What are some essentials any person, beginners or experts, should own? Which bristles are better, animal or synthetic? Do you have any recommendations for brands? Thank you for your time and I hope you are having a lovely week.
Awesome tips! I always wondered where was the best place for me to stop for my "crease" since my eyes aren't behind my browbone (hopefully that makes sense) and i think I might know where to now. Thanks so much!
I am going to try using my fluid line as a base. I have been afraid too and I asked at the MAC counter about that the other day and they acted like I was asking a stupid question and they had never heard of doing this!!! What idiots lol
glad to hear i am not alone in thinking its unnecessary to use two brushes in the crease one to apply then one to blend - i've always just relied on the tip of my 224 for placement then use the left over already on the brush to blend - one less brush to clean!
yay! love your videos! you take your time & I really love it. I also have the same eyelid crease issues like you do, thanks so much for the tips with that!

hee hee hee hee, why is it that we all open our mouths like that when we concentrate on eye make up??? O

i read on cosmo that it's because we have nerves on our eyes that connect with our mouth. When you open your eyes wide...your mouth opens as well?!

Awesome! I loved the tip for mixing the creme base with the gel liner... I'm going to try that!
PrincessPinkcat 2 years ago
Yes it definitely helps save gel liners - they dry out so quickly!
