  • I love the scrapbooking vlogs!! Her scrapbook will be amazing when you get done!

  • Just favorited this!! :D

  • That's soooo funny...everything you mentioned as money traps or crap is all the unused stuff in my organizer drawers!

  • I love to scapbook. I have 5 that I am updating all the time...In a few months I am starting my 6th book... It is so easy to get hooked on!! Great video!!!

  • I love to scrapbook! I do videos on my 12x12 layouts if you'd like to check them out! :)

  • This was an amazing video!! I really really loved your tip about the patterned paper - I went a little crazy buying a bunch of cute patterns and when I went home I realized the photos didn't look good on them. I'll definitely use them for accents and letters! :)

  • This is seriously the most amazingly timed, super awesome video ever in the whole world!!!! My bday is coming up on Monday, and my hubby is giving me a Sillhouette SD (very similar to the Cricut Expression) bc I just recently decided that I want to get into scrapbooking for my 2 little girls. I have tons of pics, but they don't tell a story...yet. Please keep these vids coming!!! I love you so much for this!! You are so inspiring to me in so many ways!!

  • wow thats so awesome.

  • Interesting. I'm completely different and don't like cardstock and despise paper stacks. I don't go with the regular taper runners anymore either, I have an ATG for scrapbooking. The adhesive is soooo much cheaper that way. But I still have to have my glue dots and dimensional adhesive. I love stamps, even my woodblock stamps. They are awesome if you have a stamp-a-ma-jig. But my favorites are the large background stamps. I would suggest you look up Nichol Magouirk, she's great and has videos.

  • Oh man.. I can stand in the scrapbooking section at Michael's or JoAnn's staring at all the cool stuff. lol.. I got sucked into that patterned paper a few years ago and I still have most of it. Same with the fancy ribbon. Unless you have a very specific page you want it for, it's not worth the money. Besides embellishments, you can use the patterned paper for black and white photos, but that's about it as far as pages go.

  • I was making a shopping list as I was watching the video ;o) I am an on and off again scrap booker, I always start one and then never get to finish! If that's even possible? What type of things do you scrapbook? My husband was deployed last year and I started making a scrapbook of the year he was gone, mostly pictures of my son & I and things we did. But after about a couple weeks, I stopped, for many reasons. Mostly it's very time consuming, and with a 18month old it was hard to work on... :o)

  • Carla, what is the pink adhesive thingy called. I love my cricut but had sticking down the letters

  • Well done explaining the basics to get started. I know all too well going overboard on the pattern papers and dual sided felt pens..... What took me the longest to get my first page going was deciding on what paper to use.....I liked the info on using brads.

  • Like the vid but one thing that had me thinking oddly was when you compared a punch that goes into a page a few inches (the pink color) in vs one that did not (the green color). The punch you referenced in your vid that could not reach is a corner rounder punch; it is meant for the corners only. You did reference it correctly later in your vid though. A tip: You can remove the guard on that corner punch and make scallop edges on the cheap instead of buying a scalloped edge border punch.

  • @stampinscrappinmms Very true. However I have many punches (like the green one) that are the same shape and size (with a different die shape) - so I was referring to the line of punches not that one in particular. I like that the guard is removable. I've actually put it on different punches in the same product line to create different corner effects on greetings cards and photo mats.

  • Love it!!! I love seeing opther people scraping stuff. Can you do a vlog on some of your pages you have done. I am needing some inspiration. :)

  • I have been a scapbooker for 9 years now! I love this video! I should post a video response of my scrapbook for my oldest, middle child only got up to 2 months, and youngest eh! oops! LOL

  • very helpful!

  • Thank you so much for this video. Now I want to go shop lol. .....I was wondering if you could show some of the pages you have done. please

  • Great video!! I would love to know more about stamps and embossing (sp?) I just bought myself a flower punch :) can't wait to use it!!

  • I'm seriously addicted to Creative Memories products. It's just too bad my wallet doesn't like it as much as I do! Hahaha! Great video for starters!
