Does this movie remind you of Avatar by James Cameron? James Cameron is a huge fan of animation, anime, adult animation, Sci-fi/fantasy and Euro-animation and this is one of his faves as well as Fantastic Planet as he used some of them as influences. He definitely combined Dances with Wolves and Gandahar and Fantastic Planet in one movie.

Now this is what i call a great movie! I loved it back in 92 at age 10 as i rented it from one of local movie stores here in Albuquerque and loved it since i always been a Sci-fi junkie. I saw tits, some bloody violence and all that as i bought this movie in the K-mart bargain bin, awesome movie that is pure art. Dragonball isn't a "shooting movie" , it's an action anime series.

It's stupid to want to compare stuff like this with Dragonball or anything else anyway, especially stuff like Dragonball because they are so obviously very different concepts...art...ect. I may not like the creator of Dragonball's "style" but it's still art to the creator and his fans. Oh, I don't consider myself a huge fan of dragonball yet I watched it anyway and "methapsique" isn't even a real word.
