Only two things: 1 Make it so that sonic doesn't do that annoying drift upon turning, that he goes right away in the direction.

2. Hire a graphic artist to turn your handiwork into a peice of art.

dude, the green hill stage in sonic generations keeps reminding me of this, and i always remember when i first found the sonic engine. You did what sega took 10 years to find out, just make mechanics that work like the old games, which is what sonic fans want. @BluuBlurr figured it out: it's like you said but I'll try my best to explain how I did it incase you didd something wrong lol.

When you open the level thing in notepad it should say this:

(Bla bla) stage folder="Splash Hill Zone" (Bla bla)

Now, in the folder where you found this notepad there should be 2 folders: one called "Splash hill zone" and one called "Chishado green hill part A"

If you don't this wont work.
