Why don't you use a DC-DC converter instead of an ancilliary battery?

What is the current draw using your hair dryer system ?

@Odziz I do use a DC-DC to charge a small accessory battery. I need the battery to power my remote door locks. See video nine for details of the DC-DC. Hair dryer pulls around 8 amps.
