No one has confirmed he's gay but for some reason I wouldn't be that surprised if he was.

Also in real life Matt and Jaimie strike me as easily incompatible. Of course I don't know either of them properly but Jaimie seems very sociable, outgoing and bubbly whereas Matt seems more pensive and calm. I don't know! I can see why they're good friends anyway.
