Every decent player in the world has to take some abuse, Landycakes is no different. But you don't see anyone else turning around and screaming in defenders' faces when they score, do you...
Not everybody gets clotheslined to the ground and grabs a hold of you after you score a goal and doesn't let go after the fact. Donovan waited for his goal to let him have it. He doesn't just take "some abuse." he takes more than anyone else in the league, and he's sick of it. Go Donovan!
Landycakes? Ha! Fox Football Fone In was terrible with their vilifying of Landon.
MSensky I agree with Rodgers not working hard, don't get me wrong I love Rogers but he does seem to move at a sluggish pace most of the time he has loads of talent I wish he would open up and use it, Just bein in the game for the full 90+ doesn't mean he worked hard and both of his goals against Chivas were mistakes by Guzan, and I do watch the games. He needs to use his talent a little more and act like he wants to play instead of slacking, but he is one of my favorite young players though
jonesta im with you on this one. i dont get to see all the games but i did see last thursday and for a start i dont think he sprinted the entire game! He tried to draw stupid fouls, was lazy around the ball, and frankly he just doesnt look like hes having fun and thats a problem. I think they should either give Duncan Oughton or Kevin Burns a go on the wing instead of Rogers for sure.
I don't know if I would bench rogers unless you let one of these guys start and then bring rogers on later show him that he isn't irreplacable and get his head in the game he has the potential to be a star, hopefully he will get his head on right and turn into a US MNT mainstay
What are you talking about? He's started every game this year and gone the full 90 almost everytime. Hell look at the Chivas game fought hard all match long and picked up two goals. He rips shots from all of the park and is becoming a dangerous unpredictable player that keeps keepers on their toes. I'm not sure if you guys actually watch the games or just catch the highlights but that was one bad piece of commentary right there.
Shep is an idiot, if Robbie were some middle-aged import who had played 2 seasons in Europe and put in the performances he has so far this year both of em would be all over him, proclaiming him some great find and astonished that he actually "came here to play, not retire"...
because ruud gullit is known for coining the phrase "sexy football" when he was a television analyst/commentator in europe. that is where they got that from.
lol "defence is not very sexy, is it?".
well, it's kinda hard to have good defence when you have a coach that played for a country that promoted a lack of formation, now is it?

Chad Barrett blows!!! He is got to be the worst MLS player right now. He is frustrating to watch. I was at that Fire game, I wanted to strangle him.
