you should try guitar hero 2 version, you can play it with "Frets on fire" don't misunderstood but, this is easier compared with that version, specially with the bass!

Other than that, RB does have more accurate charts.

I guess GH3 made up for their ridiculous charts by making the HO/PO system have NO timing window at all.

Someone should make a custom chart of TTFAF and Devil Went Down to Georgia for Rock Band. I wanna see how much harder it is when you have to time the HO/PO.

i disagree with larryjerry1. for him it may be different but the guitar has always been easier for me on guitar hero. RB is too precise on the hammer-ons and quicker notes are easier on GH.

i meant in general. ive played the last song in RB1 on the normal setlist and was sorely dissappointed with the difficulty in comparison to the GH3 songs. had i seen it just once before, i would have passed without much difficulty. i still cant get past 40% on raining blood in GH3 simply because the songs in GH are more difficult, in terms of the note chart. yes the guitar on RB is more precise, but the overall difficulty of songs (NON-DLC) is kind of dissapointing.

Guitar Hero charts are harder simply because of artificial difficulty.

Sometimes they add notes where there should not be notes just to make the songs harder.

Also, RB2 is a huge stepup in difficulty.

If you transition too early after a sustain, there is a gap between notes and it can sound choppy. (not trying to discredit the creator)

But I do agree that some guitar parts (i.e. 2:46) is too short.

On most accounts, it's just different, but at some they add a few more notes than needed. In the verse, they say a note is lowerm or they added a note, I may be confusing the bass track. Also the chorus, the hammer ons part, that quick yellow shouldn't be there. Also some hammer ons missing in places. Don't get me started on the solo. also they dropped a susstain in there. It was way too short.

I though of that first thing. Just make a blank chart, and no delay of release. Do that, and put a warning it has no vocals on the loading screen. Imagine of someone never heard the song, loaded up the vocals, and was like "WHAT THE FUCK?!!"
