Hello NightFlyyer! Thanks for the tip for the skidplates, around 20-30 minutes ago I cut some rubber material and glued it on with amazing goop(hard to find in the UK) onto my 4 ch RC Helicopter, and it works great, I will send you a message when I post the video on the landing video, I have made one of me bugging my friend but the landing video is on its way! And thanks again, really appreciate you helping me out
Very cool. As you know, I love doing spot landing challenges like that. I'm going to take your advice and put some rubber tubing on the skids to my MsR. Great idea!
hi i want to ask you something bcs im lokking for a broken rc plane or some planes but i have no money to buy one so if u have one that u use no more and u want to give it away
@MrChristianbxl ya know just getting the broken parts will still need fixing and replacements....unfortunately this is not a free hobby, and going cheap is expensive and starting out with a broken one doesnt give you the best view of the hobby... until then enjoy the videos save your money and get one kit and extra parts as you will see others have posted what breaks most easily....
Dear Dave , Following your suggestion , i have applied silicone to the skids of my Honey bee FP ... works very well ! thank you . Cheers from down under !
Great idea Dave. Just fitted some silicon fuel tubing to the skids on my Blade 120SR. Works great, the heli now has better ground handling. Nothing like a little extra friction to help make it stick to the kitchen bench.
when i used to own the msr, i use the little black rubber thing that hole the msr canopy ( the msr come with 4 extra rubber peices ) small, slick and lightweight.
better yet paint the lid and/or jar so it also will glow with the black light.... maybe even a bulls-eye target paint job or traditional "H" landing paint job,
@RazzlePlatinum i tried that with my msr, just like i did his notar design on my msr which worked, but with the 1 blade, it wouldnt lift. I had to hand launch it but it would just slowly drop.
@GrubFlyer Haha. Well with me flying 1 bladed helicopters by now you know I'm not most people. Those grommets need to be cut to put on the back part of the skids in between the struts, so I went the cheaper way and what I had on hand, you know. Thanks

Hi Dave, speaking of tight landings did you ever watch my practice with the CX2?

Thumbs up, Another good idea instead of rubber garmets are hot glue, just put four dabs of glue on the skids.

You got to be careful landing though. Grippy landing gear can cause tip overs.

most people just buy a pack of canopy grommets for the blade msr and stretch them over the skids. Your idea works good too!
nice vid nightflyyer
