I love Jim's work and Michael Turner's work was amazing but did anyone notice how GREAT newcomer Shane Davis was during Michael Green's run on Superman/Batman? It was like a combination of the ultra-real of Jim and the "prettiness" of Michael.

Well, the idea is to help protect those who cant protect themselves. Everyone has an angle. Thats why there are wars. Well, I was an early teen during the Marvel days Jim Lee, Mark Silvestri, and well Todd McFarlane (you should see Todd's drawings of Mary Jane in a nighty). Anyway, I loved it. Then again, I was watching rated R movies at the age of five. No harm done. I believe the orgin of calling these comic-books goes back before super hero comics. Way back with Popeye(even before Superman), I suppose the name just stuck. Like 'cartoons' don't always have cars in them. Most super hero comics are drama based.

Turner's covers are great. But his interiors are weak. Especially in the Batman/Superman run. He looked like he was rushed, too sketchy.

thats really cool, you do some amazing work. I actually got back into comic books just recently (18 year absence) because of the art work with the stories as a bonus hehehe. Loved "For Tomorrow", and especially loved "Hush", Been actually doing a 3d model based on the drawings of your superman. what I like about how you draw supes is hes almost as dark as batman which worked great in for tommorow.
