I'm not high on Ayers at pick 26 for the Ravens, but if they were to move back into the early 2nd and grab him or even a few picks back, I'd be for it. I worry that he's not going to be much of a pass rusher, yet he shows glimpses of being good. I think he is more quick than fast which is key because you're talking about 10 yard spaces he has to cover to get to the QB. We'll see what happens with Ayers, he's a guy that could fall into the early 2nd round.
Eagles are picking this man up, or Jimmy Smith with the 23rd pick this year. Hopefully the CBA can get underweigh so we can see if kolb actually has value.
I would love to see the Bucs grab this guy at #20. Great versatility. Takes good angles in pursuit and does a great job of getting his hands up and knocking the ball down when rushing the passer. Good fluidity in coverage.
I would want the complete opposite out of a defender. I need someone who can wrap up, not someone who flies into a runner like an amputee. Big hitters will see more of a rude awakening when making the jump to the NFL than the guys who can wrap up.
why? hes a 2nd round talent, hes only projected into the 1st cause he is the only good 4-3 OLB. he has only one pass rush move, doesnt use his hands to well, slow, (I watched a QB run him down) and giants should def. grab him in the 2nd if hes there, Oline is much more important with age and injuries. they did well last season but if giants continue to ignore the oline, when they finally address it it will be to late. i believe 4/5 of the line is over 31.
