  • People please do not vote for Ron Paul because he is friendly on the legalization issue. This is the guy who, if you do not have insurance and get sick, would rather let you die than lift a finger to help you. The right wing tells you Obamacare will kill you meanwhile they right will let you die, so what's the difference? Also, the "lamestream media" comments are retarded....you do realize you watch Ron Paul on that very same "lamestream media" and you comment on youtube which is owned by google

  • @ToJ01978 this video was for his 08 campaign and remains online for historic purposes and has no connection with his 2012 campaign. I have no connection with the 2012 campaign as I have changed in my political views over the paste 4 years. It wold serve you and others well to look at the date of the videos before jumping to conclusions.

  • There is more to life than pot. Ron Paul would allow your state to make the decision about marijuana laws. Don't get all excited. What exactly do you stand for other than marijuana?

  • THAT IS A LIE RON PAUL IS MARVELOUS, CUBANS FOR RON PAUL!!!

  • Legal or not, I'm smoking this stuff, but I hope he wins.

  • States have to choose for themselves. It's not Constitutional for the Federal Government to do it. I'm sick of people misrepresenting Ron Paul. Next you will say he is fringe and an Isolationist. Go watch some more propaganda on Lame stream media.

  • Paul doesn't condone marijuana, but he wants to end the war on drugs. He doesn't support seat belt laws, but he favors seat belts. Get it? It's all about personal freedom, baby!

  • yes, i can decide whats good for me!

  • Ron Paul Revolution 2012!!!!!!

  • 50$ says arnold will be the first to legalize

  • most likely not... he also believes in human decency and clean society. This libertarian idea stands for reducing government involvement but not making everything legal.

  • If we get the FED out of our lives, most States will legalize MJ.

  • Ron paul > Obama

  • maybe not end.. but definitely help it and start it on the right track

  • @weetoy69 U R OBVIOUSLY A CHILD, USING MOMMY'S LAPTOP.

  • @weetoy69 lol you sound like the epitome of dumb-assedness. No you WONT be on the corner near the grammer school selling your..ehmm..How did you put it? "STONED TO THE BONE" heroin..lol. You're attempt to slander RP look just as stupid as you must be. Ron Paul is putting it in the state's hands, that's all. Now you may find a state to allow you to sell your crap to kids without a license, but I doubt it..Dumb Ass lol.Just tryin to keep it real for ya buddy. :)

  • Kinda misleading. Ron Paul never said he'd " legalize it" , he said that it should be left up to the states to decide for themselves...but stil... : ) Thats exactly how it SHOULD be.

  • I think the new elite, the new rich guy isnt the old white establishment guy at all. I think its flip flopped and the puppet masters are now in Hollywood & europe. The media has helped turn the disgruntled mob against the system so they can get a socialist foothold. Spending oodles of cash on losing propositions and stimulous packs, bringing down what little we had going. Create poverty, rid the private sector of jobs & small business and whoola!

New jobs says Obama, coming to save the day!

  • I support the freedom to choose, the freedom to smoke weed if you like that, the freedom of speech, freedom to own and fire guns which todays liberals like Rosie want abolished.. I support individual freedom across the board.

Do I support this current admin? No way and you wouldnt either. You would not until you could bring back one of your several laid off employees and put food on the table again. You would support commerce and free trade as well as civil lib unlike todays liberal mob.

  • legalize quit breaking the american constitution laws cannabis is our personal frewedom to smoke

  • was on drugs is in place to assure the gov gets to keep its monopoly of the drug dealing market.

  • Ron Paul is absolutely right, the constitution tells the government what it can and can not do...The FEDS have no business with their ficticious war on drugs.

    Leave it to the states.

This is where the mainstream media will try to "crucify" Dr. Paul with their fear campaign on him leagalizing pot, heroin, etc.

Gotta scare the voting populace, and they will believe the bullshit.

  • The president enforces the laws. Congress makes them. He might be able to end the war on drugs, but legalizing mary jane is a stretch.

  • ron paul gots my vote!!!

  • If hemp/cannibus is legal, multiple jobs will be created. Ron Paul 2012

  • @democratsaresmart

Your name is clearly a misnomer. Please do the world a favor, get off of all of Ron Paul's videos, crawl into a hole and die.

  • Ron seems alright honestly but Im not turning republican for pot legislation. You think things are fucked now? Wait until everything is privatized and no taxes. The rich will own fucking everything. And Job creation from this is a load of crap!

  • @MrSquirrel2k wrong. im not against the rich. im against the rich that are in bed with the gov't. you would have no problem raking in cash big time and neither would i. but if you have an unfair advantage because the gov't then i would. oversimplification: 1mil working people paying taxes < 1.5mil working people paying slightly less taxes. back in mideval europe, taking ten percent of your food profit was considered tyranny. doesnt ten percent tax sound good right now?

  • @brownspottedbanana The thing is that taking 10% of your food money is tyranny and taking 10% of a Ferrari fund is not. Its not just about distribution of wealth anymore. Companies exist to serve the investors not the workers or general consumers who will never have anything substantial to invest. With that said, If you Republicans can get him nominated, Im sure that MANY democrats will vote Paul including myself

  • @MrSquirrel2k they already own everything genius

  • As a Cancer patient i was given some of the most harmful drugs they could give me..One even said may cause sudden death and infact almost killed me..I was told by my doctors to smoke Maryjuana but its not legal in my state and i would have no idea where to get it..Well that Cancer is gone now and To stop a sick person from getting relief in a none harmfull way is ludicirs..Ron Paul is a Physician and he's right on the money...Ron Paul 2012

  • hey hey! look... this guy was right!

  • Comment removed

  • outlaw and ban ammunition and bullets and use all guns as weed pipes lmao

  • wait, wtf? i've heard hes one of the tea party, i thought conservatives in general didnt want to legalize it?

I might have to look into voting for this guy if he truely would legalize it....

  • @chillincruisin Real conservatives, which are ironically quite close to nowadays "liberals", are very much just "for the constitution." The constitution is very much about equal rights for everyone and everybody being able to do as much as they want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody. True conservatives would support legalizing it as they would find it ridiculous, just as a true conservative would probably support gay marriage and other iffy topics that Republicans steer clear from.

  • @MyBeautifulZygote is there a true conservative party? because thats really what i've been looking for, an elected government that doesn't care how i live my life as long as i pay my taxes and dont hurt other people or their property

  • @chillincruisin Idk, I don't conform to a party...I'm a free-thinker in religion and politics and I use rationality to decide what I think would be best for us as a whole. Marijuana being illegal yet K2 is in stores? Yeah, that doesn't make any sense.

  • Prohibition is a scam to aggrandize contraband barons.

  • Thumbs up if you get that anxiety and cant wait when you here marijuana will be legalized ! Vote Ron Paul for president 2012!!!

  • If it's legal, does it mean people can smoke it out in the open like cigarettes?

  • I doubt it. Alcohol is legal and you have to consume it in private. And you probably would have to be 21 to purchase it.

  • but he might not run

  • #1.Ron Paul wants to legalize, decriminalize, and tax marijuana.#2 Ron paul wants to end the fed because their robbing the american people.#3.end fema and department of homeland security "you know those organizations that have plans to imprison america", the very same organization that has thousands of disposable coffins.read HR 6304 and see if im bullshitting you!how many more reasons do you need to get the hint!?SAVE OUR ASSES before it's too fucking late! RON PAUL for PRESIDENT !!revolution now

  • today hemp can be produced in oil, food, hemp clothes, and can be trillion dollars business today and FED illegal it because it will harm their business and if we throw the FED out, that means we will bring our dollar back on track and end all stupid war, and apology to them. FED likes BLOOD MONEY. Will you eat their pills, food, drinks that are sold in the world? Or you prefer non poisoning food, legal marijuana to reform our encomy and no more income tax.

  • Ron Paul will not "legalize" marijuana, but he will take the government's regulation of it out of the equation.

  • Its funny how you are raised to believe that America is the best and number one from school etc. just to grow up and realize our country consists of a bunch of dumb fucking morons. By the way the only problem with legalizing marijuana is losing something to fight for.

  • 2012 Ron Paul will end the War

  • I agree, you used the wrong words and the wrong video clips to get people to think of legalizing

  • If you think next year wont bring new socialist laws to make you even more of a criminal who needs even more control... You are sadly mistaken.

You liberals had better wake the fuck up, this is not a black and white issue, and I'm not talking about skin color. The liberals will let the young folks think they will legalize but they are wolves in sheeps clothing. The liberals want control over people, more gov, more management of your life costing us every cent & freedom we have eventually.

  • @guitarplayer4real both liberals and conservatives are at fault in the continued assault on the people of the united state of America. this is not a red or blue issue!

  • @40PoundPill I agree absolutely! The power struggles over political dominance continues but one thing remains the same throughout all of my 50 years and that is "we all get screwed".

I'm definately for the American citizen/ black, white, red.. its all the same to me, We're all Americans getting raked over the political coals. I'm growing really sick of slaving my life away to pay for the idealist politicians way, we need a realist in office not a day dreamer.

  • @guitarplayer4real make mine liberty

  • @diogeneslaertius666 I'm in....:-p

  • @guitarplayer4real I AGREE COMPLETELY. LOOK UP HERMAN CAIN. HES A REAL REPUBLICAN.

  • @guitarplayer4real That's an oxymoron. Liberal = free. Republicans are the one changing laws to control people. Who came up with the patriot act? who started the war on drugs? who decide whether an adult can have abortion or not, who decided that everyone needs a government ID to vote? etc, etc, need I go on? WTFU.

  • @Skilbeard Todays liberals are not the same as yesterdays liberals. This neophyte mob can be described as anarchist at best. Sorry, I dont agree and it takes congress and a lot more than a few republicans to pass laws and acts. People also have knee jerk reactions to world events and do stupid things, more obvious today than ever. You can 'go on' if you like but you are preaching to the preacher. These current liberals are micromanagers in the worst sense, not freedom fighters IMO.

  • @guitarplayer4real Amazing, can't believe you don't see what's happening. Republicans are the ones taking away our freedom. They want to control what adults do. War on drugs, War on a woman's uterus, War on voting rights (eg now government license to vote), War on privacy (patriot act), War on religious freedom, War against the poor, etc, etc. I hate republicans now fooling people like you until after 2012 election.

  • @Skilbeard I'm just as amazed that you dont get me. I'm liberal in a lot of ways but also educated, have owned a business for over 20 years and hive kids older than most of todays liberals. I see what and where believe me and its not party specific, this is exactly what 'they' would love for you to believe. I'm sure this will be a shock to you but I am affilliated with NO party, am over 50 and never voted Republican in my life.

Oops, guess you were wrong in your armchair assessment huh.

  • @guitarplayer4real My response was not specific to an individual but those who would fight against policies that worked in the 90's that republicans fight against today. Many equate the garbage the republicans spew to what the democrats are trying to do. I disagree. People are afraid to call out the republicans and their rich friends so I will. Ron Paul won't be able to change the Republican ways but even he has a war on the uterus.

  • @Skilbeard There's a lot more liberals with socialism in mind that have tons of cash than you think, same as rich republicans and just as bent with their own agendas. The old money or establishment you speak of 'the good ol boy' network is slowly diminishing but agree its still there. Todays liberals are bent with special agenda in my estimation and have done nothing but get all of my employees laid off in the process. Without opposition this is totalitarian so I'm glad for the balance.

  • @guitarplayer4real All that does not matter. It's no point arguing in the abstract when we have evidence from both parties since one or other have been in power over the last 20 years and maybe for some time to come. I have given you a number of reasons why republicans suck. I am more interested in policies we have seen from both sides than I am interested in the abstract thoughts.

  • @Skilbeard Debating about political parties always gets abstract its got no place else to go. You are obviously bent on smashing Republicans but I know many with tons more integrity and intelligence than most liberals I've spoken with. Your Reasons=your opinions thats all. I dont know you and 3 or 4 posts are hardly enough to be drawing some of the conclusions that have erroneously been drawn, so we'll just have to leave it there. They're all men in black, thats my opinion.

  • @guitarplayer4real Debate? No, policies, policies, policies, policies... Otherwise evidence, evidence,... How can that be abstract? and why debate, just share facts, maybe you can teach me something that I am missing. don't go abstract on me again though.

  • @Skilbeard Maybe I did wander a bit, sorry. If I have to debate party voting history that specifically then I must dig for more details due to the nature of that beast so I try and keep the split between conservs and libs simple. I grew up in the 60s and 70s, a strange time when hippies were making news and were called liberals. Todays liberals resemble that movement but I'm still trying to figure out how Hollywood and that rich elite ties in. They scare me more than the old school law makers.

  • @guitarplayer4real you are just as black as white as the rest of them i may be a LIBERAL but i also a LIBERTARIAN and I stand with Ron Paul on many of his issues! :)

  • @TheRedRussian10 I'm one of THE original liberals from as far back as the 70's but do NOT support todays trash talkers or protesters. I'm not sure what you mean that "I'm black and white"... Nothing in my thinking is black and white, not one single solitary thing but my name.

  • @guitarplayer4real i mean dissing liberals doesnt make sense, liberalism doesnt mean more control, that's what AUTHORITARIANISM means and that's on the other dimension of the political spectrum. Many liberals, especially the protesters, are socialist AND libertarian (it is very possible!) and like ron paul for a lot of thing he says and does

  • @TheRedRussian10 I think we mostly agree but differ slightly on what todays liberals will bring. Programs seem to be available under conserv gov and the liberals bring enforced social programs. I see the liberals ringing in a "George Orwelles 1984" world eventually. About the liberals, there's a lot I like and support but they have no plan, no model and seem anti-everything but for the programs. I pay while they play! I support conserv economics with more social liberal values - a paradox.

  • @guitarplayer4real i see where youre coming from - we need a libertarian government, that's for sure, and i think that is more important right now than the whole liberal/conservative issue.

  • @TheRedRussian10 Thats the common ground I think we are all looking for. My mom is a longtime Democrat, dad is dead now but was a ultra conservative hard working guy so I grew up in both worlds not to mention N. California raised:-) This last vote may have been exactly what people needed. Man I sure hope so.. I'm 15 years or less from retirement age now... Time sure flies!

  • Dude,...I actually thought you were against Ron Paul.

You need to learn to pick your words and your material better.

NO ONE , is gonna get more open to excepting it, by showing the soldiers using their weapons as bongs.

And if there is anyone who SHOULD BE DRUG TESTED, ITS CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT ! GO RON, IN 2012 !!!

  • @13AJJONES It is stock footage showing NCO's smoking pot under the watch of the commanding officer. It is a great video to show the hypocrisy of the US Government!

  • @40PoundPill BUT THE IDEA IS TO CHANGE THE THINKING OF MORONS.

AND THESE MORONS LOOK FOR ANY LITTLE THING TO HELP THEM DEMONIZE LEGALIZATION. AM I WRONG ?

  • @13AJJONES No that was not my idea in making this video. I made all the RP videos for myself and friends and they urged me to put them up on youtube so I did.

  • @13AJJONES I thought the same thing,,be very careful how you portray drug usage

  • @13AJJONES "excepting it"? I think you mean ACCEPTING. Looks like you're the one who needs to "pick your words" better. Go back to elementary school and learn the basics of spelling before you try to take on a big political issue.

  • @ernielight NO,...I WAS JUST A LITTLE STONED ....YA HYPOCRITE .

FREEDOM IS DOING WHATEVER U PLEASE , AS LONG AS U R NOT PHYSICALLY HURTING ANOTHER.

GO STUDY THE ARTICALS OF FREEDOM,...4 THE FIRST TIME IN YOUR LIFE.

  • i think liberals should wake up and realize they are batting for socialism being that people refer to our country as a democracy it is not and never has been we are a republic = Republican you know and to the REPUBLIC FOR WITCH IT STANDS

  • hey 40poundpill thanks for the vid and getting people informed on what people need to do if they want it legalized.

  • Ron Paul unfortunately will not win. Even in the 2012 campaign. The people's ignorance is ridiculous maybe because the majority of people in this country are as smart as a 5th grader and as close minded pre-schooler. He is 1000% correct about preserving the constitution and bill of rights. Drugs SHOULD be legalized so people can decide them-selves based on their moral standards. Freedom of choice people. The war on drugs IS a failure and will continue to be with this "puppet" Obama.

  • this guy knows his rights, and clearly is using what he has to use against the government and legislate. yes, our government is full of hypocrites. We should put this to an end, and get what WE want with our rights. The government makes laws for their best interest, not ours violating OUR rights. Does anyone remember "We the people...?"

  • I like Ron Paul a lot but I don't know if America is ready to have legalized prostitution, drugs and gay marriage.

  • we need more people in the fight on war on drugs we must continue to keep our boarders safe and keep marijuana and other drugs illegal and destroy as many of those plants as possible we must keep it outlawed and as far as medical usage of marijuana it should remain outlawed as well for the lord saith unto adam in the book of genesis thou may eateth NOT of the tree of knoweledge of good and evil for thou shalt surely die yes god planted marijuana but it is not inteded for human usage in ANY way

  • @americanman2000 God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be for meat." … And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:29-31) The Bible says that God created hemp for people to use "as meat," (ie, to consume), that its seed oil is to be used as an ointment, and that cannabis is "to be received with thanks-giving of them which believe and know the truth.

  • @jwill3free hey shit face down here yeah this message, god did not plant no marijuana that is the work of the devil after the forbidden fruit was eaten you dumb liberal douche pray to jesus read a book do something marijuana kills and if you look at my channel i posted 2 videos about this one today and one yesturday you are a liberal fag

  • @americanman2000 Ok. Firstly, go back to high school and learn how to write. Secondly, read the bible and maybe you will see what I actually quoted in my latter message. Thirdly, you cant be very religious and think you understand what God wants of you and call people names. You are a hypocrite and ignorant. Before you comment on peoples pages you should first know what you are talking about. Good day.

  • @americanman2000 Hey asswipe,,,call yourself a patriot? lmao Get your facts straight before you start spewing lies and garbage. The holy bible before 1937 was made of hemp, Declaration of Independence paper is from hemp, george washington army wore uniforms made from hemp etc. Cannabis or hemp seeds have nutritional values. Also Henry Ford made a car from hemp and the engine ran on hempfuel. part 1

  • @americanman2000 Addictive? Hey Asswipe no it is not physically addictive, it can be psychologicaly addictive,,. The smoking part is unhealthy, but you can ingest it or vaporize it. It is good medicine for people who suffers constant pain and treat certain mental disorders,,,there is no viable proof that cannabis kills,,but pharmaceuticals is very dangerous to your body. So do yourself a favor open your mind and research,,,Oh by the way i'm not a liberal

  • Comment removed

  • And what the (fed) government would consider as the "legal" status of cannibis, certainly strickly controlled as "medicine", would still be illegal for almost everyone else. Now the "legal" states are having their doctors investigated for "unusually" high marijuana prescriptions. The government isn't that stupid, and because of all the money spent on a failed war, there are enough bureaucrats to continue executing the war! What a waste of money on a moral crusade!

  • Comment removed

  • @whiff1962 I agree with you our position is different then it may appear in contrast to the title of the video. The fact remains ending the war on drugs wold result in legalization in at least a few states.

  • @whiff1962 I was going to use the word decriminalize. Understand when I uploaded this video it had the song legalize by Peter Tosh until you tube got after me.

Do you really think a few thousand pot heads or even just one showing up to Vote for Ron Paul was negative? Do you really think people that looked at the message of the video in a negative way light due to the title voted for Dr Paul?

  • @40PoundPill If I understand you correctly, no, the "typical" Libertarian would not be turned off by the term "legalize". However, the latter term, as in Legalized Medical Marijauna, doesn't address the core issue, namely. of the unconstitutional nature of drug prohibition. Moreover, as you are certainly aware, the war on the individual (which the war on drugs IS), has been a most costly war, at home and abroad.

  • @whiff1962 I think we are on the same page. I enjoy your thoughtful critique of videos I made for Dr.Paul's Campaign. Thank you and no need to remove them unless you tube is doing that?

  • I think the word "legalize" is both inaccurate, and perjorative of the Libertarian position. The moral calculus of "decriminalizing" marijuana, or any drug an individual chooses to consume, is constitutionally pertinent. The prohibitionist-state visits harm, and spends more tax dollars, on telling individuals what he or she may consume. As a logical extension, the consumption of ideas can be far more dangerous than a delicious, home-grown joint. Think about ideas and drugs as equal under law!

  • Comment removed

  • it would be fucking retarded to legalize all drugs (only weed should be legalized) ive seen poeple overdose infront of my own eyesdrugs will kill you weed wont its just a flower

  • "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences of attending too much liberty, then to those of attending to small a degree of it." -Thomas jefferson-

  • Ron Paul is the shit.

  • The world is just so messed up

  • Yes! He won the straw poll!

  • Ron is a constitutionalist so he probably wont straight up legalize it most likely he will keep the federal government goons from going after it and leave it up to each individual state to decide what they want to do. You could have hundreds of pounds and know the federal government wont come after you, ahh freedom! Some states would legalize or decriminalize and some wouldn't but we would definetly have a few Amsterdam like cities around the country and that would be awesome!. Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Dr. Paul is proof that more than one school of thinking can exist within the construct of our government structure. It's a shame his fairly common sense approaches aren't mirrored by the majority in his own party, otherwise I would have to admit to being a Republican. However if he runs for President again I will vote for him. He's running for congressional re-election this year also, in case no one has heard this yet.

  • ATTENTION ALL AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!

this summer I am going on a cross Country trip to gather signatures for the

2012 PRESIDENTAL ELECTION BALLOT, TO DECRIMINALIZE THE PERSONAL POSESSION, CULTIVATION AND NONPROFIT DISTRIBUTION OF CANNABIS.

COME SEE ME AS I VISIT A CITY NEAR YOU.

  • welp its 5 days from 2010... fuck this dude.

  • the only true change in the 2008 election our country would be in way better shape if he was president

  • The only true Conservative. Ron Paul rocks!

  • man i cant vote but i knew i was right to root for him when he still had a chance

  • Think of were we'd be if he'd gotten elected, walkin down the street smokin spliffs :D

  • Stand up for what you believe in!

  • Ron Paul, he is the future of this country, people like him will lead us out of this mess oil and greed have caused for so many years.

Im done with expecting governemtn to fix anything or make the changes we need made, destroy failed policys, stop the need for oil and to revitalize this nation with new green jobs, industry and fuel(AKA HEMP)!

Ron Paul for 2012 all the way, since Obama has failed us after only 1 year we have to look at our next move, this one failed whats next?

  • people didnt vote for ron paul because he does not lie.. people like the way lies sound more than the truth.

  • No they didnt vote for him because the party he is in, doesnt understand him. He isnt telling them what they want to hear, hes telling the truth they cant handle it and so they demonize him.

They want the guy they can have abeer with that wiont make them think or have to sacrafice anything. they want things the same for nothing to change. Even though 99% of them are suffering due to non change and their own party making laws that truly harm them! But they do make sure gays can marry!

  • That's exactly why he was Libertarian(in '88 I think). Maybe that party just wasn't well known enough?

  • CALL 973 409 3274 and PRESS #.. VOTE to LEGALIZE MARIJUANA OBAMA SAID HE WOULD PASS THE BILL IF HE REVIECES A MILLION VOTES... NO SHIT!

  • Yea i'm sure....

  • RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012!

    legalize it!!!

  • he said he isn't going to run again...:(

  • noooooooooo :((( then lets hope Alice Cooper gets elected ;)

  • i'd want him to run, but not becuz of pot

  • Ron Paul is an actual doctor, so who's word/opinion tops his on the subject? What does Obama know about medical treatment? The states should decide, too much tax money is wasted on petty, harmless "crimes" in the name of the "war on drugs". Much like people's civil liberties are eroding in the guise of fighting a "war on terror". Ron Paul 2012!

  • paul 2012 !! i came to the same thought about 2 hours ago this guy is realy really ontop of things we are going to have to stand up now start working to get a smart person not just a media lapdog in the white house in 2012 i am already looking for a way to donate to his 2012 bid

  • If RP is ever President he can't legalize it. He said that he will let the states decide. So there very well may be states that completely legalize weed but its not a function of the federal government. Well....thats under RP, of course the current establishment doesn't think that.

  • A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.

    ~Thomas Jefferson

  • i just like peter tosh!

  • The problem is that alot of people make alot of money, keeping weed illegal. DEA, and corporate prisons for example.

  • Plus, think what would happen to alcohol and tobacco if weed was legal? I believe it would wipe out those industries and for a good reason.

  • It wouldn't wipe them out, or even come close to it. But it would give them competition. All of the anti-drug ads you see on TV are sponsored by the alcohol/tobacco companies as well as the big pharma companies. The government wants to keep drugs like marijuana illegal so they can reep massive profits from their legal prescription drugs which are always more harmful.

  • Fucking stoners.

  • fucking non-stoners...

  • @wakenrasta Gettin ya feelings out there..good for you, good for you..

  • sounds more like de-illegalize than legalize.

If drugs are de-illegalized there will be no war to fight on something that is illegal.

  • I think the word you're looking for is decriminalize. In states where it's been decriminalized you only receive a fine for possessing it. In other states you can be arrested and put in jail for possession that's the difference. As for Ron Paul, he isn't going to legalize weed. He says that he will take the federal government out of that picture and leave it up to the states.

  • Yes and part of the reason the federal government has made it a crime to possess weed is the fact they are power hungry. A government based on federalism, is much less power hungry. Many states may not legalize it but most would decriminalize it. In fact i don't think any state actually has a law against possession. There is only the unconstitutional federal law, which classifies weed as a schedule 1 drug in the same tier as Heroin and Cocaine!!!!!

  • Obama Legalized Medical Marijuana But He Didnt Legalize Marijuana All Together

  • You are wrong he dose not and never has had that power he is not even the president until the 20th of this month...Are you really this ignorant to the world around you? No president has the ability to to do anything about drug laws on a state by state level only on a federal level the videos title and statement that he wold have "legalize it" was not completly true and was only stated to show his intentions to keep government out of every part of our life's including what we do to our body's.

  • Medical Marijuana is not legal on a federal level in states were it is legal the federal government comes in and arrest people for using it for medical reasons in a state were it is legal for medical use based on federal laws!

  • @Probation93

    obama did NOT legalize it

its not legal in federal level

states can try to play with the laws so in STATE level some places haves medical marijuana legal NOT THANKS to obama

    vote for ron paul 2012

  • @Probation93 There are at least three Constitutional amendments being violated in the process. The federal govt. has made a moral issue into a war on the individual. The fact that the federal government would have a hard time taxing the plant, is but one small reason. There are ideological reasons, and, of course, vested interests, who would love to see NO end to the war.

  • I really don't see why all of the candidates wouldn't want it decriminalized. With the war on drugs ended, the bureaucracy would shrink, and that means less taxes. Also, we have much bigger problems right now. Marijuana legalization policies should be left to the states.

  • LEGALIZE IT BITCH!! RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • Ron paul wants to give the power back to the states, so they can vote on which drugs they want to be "legal". And when it is legal for the citizens of that state to have them either in their possession or on their property, Ron Paul doesnt want the federal government having the power to override the state law and arrest those citizens.

  • WILL OBAMA WILL LEGALIZE IT ?

  • I talked about decriminalize it.. but that's a couple of years ago, soo, I don't think he will stand by his words.

  • he will keep his word.. He said he used to smoke weed when he was a teen and he said he did often.. meaning he liked it and doesnt see why the laws are how they are right now over marijuna.
