  • Project Fiona ftw.

  • when he said buy it for console, really he meant pirate it. but serisoly, it pisses me off mass effect 1 and 2 is on steam (granted before origin was made) and not mass effect 3!!!

  • Having to install Origin for ME3 is like having gay-sex for a night with a supermodel.

Origin is the reason I stopped playing BF3, though a great game, the horrible online game-browser and Origin is just enough to make you stop wanting to get back.

No wonder people are escaping over to console gaming.

  • i guess i speak for shitloads of people when im saying they just lost another customer. no way in hell im buying a game that demands this intrusive piece of shit DRM.

and they wonder why people pirate!!! lmao go figure.

its not the first time we see companies do this..the Sony Music scandal is still fresh in mind...

i WILL play this game..but it wont be a legit copy. in fact i think its every citizens OBLIGATION to pirate this game, and any game released with Origin.

  • @pootubeftw heck yeah I will pirate it. Seed you there march 6 :)

  • I would buy this game if this wasn't on origins

  • GUYS EVERYONE. DOWNLOAD THE RAZOR9111 PATCH to play games without origin. Because of this pirate mass effect 3.

  • Continuing: I know it's been said that Origin is required for single player gameplay but come on, it's a one time(I say again, a ONE TIME) online activation then puff, forget Origin even exists. Don't forget that Mass Effect is a famous franchise because of single player gameplay(a dying breed these days),and even if there is multiplayer included in this one it will still be praised for the single player elements. I just don't get it, seems like BF3 trauma conbined with Steam worship and EA hate

  • Seriously, I don't understand why people will skip the game just because Steam won't sell it. I mean, there is still that retail shop who will sell you the physical copy of the game you know? Amazon is offering the game as digital download, here on Brazil our own digital shop is also offering the game as digital download. My point is: there are a lot of ways of buying the game without Origin so unless I'm skipping something it seems immature(if not stupid) to skip the game because of that.

  • Qucik! We must activate the Razor1911 signal light! TANA-NANA-NA, RAZOR!!!

  • Here's my question, if you've played Mass Effect & Mass Effect II on steam, will you be able to use the Mass Effect II save to start Mass Effect III on Origin?

  • stinkin ea and his origin i will pirated me3

  • ps: ROFL ... origin compete with steam ? hahaha dont make laugh it hurts to much :P

  • haha its funny all these Companies that try to stop piracy just end up making people want to pirate insted....

  • @Monenoke

yep we see it time and time again. the companies NEVER learn. they go for the easy quick fix thinking thats the solution for their problems. GET THE PIRATES, THAT WILL INCREASE OUR WEALTH EVEN MORE!

This linear idea that every pirated copy is equal to a lost sale is just so fucking sickening that i am about to puke.

they ACTUALLY think that 100% of what i pirate i would actually BUY if i didn't have a choice. The small mindedness is apparent. 99% of what i download, i wouldnt buy.

  • You got a pretty cool job, Force.

  • Anyone with the balls to put FUCK SOPA on their page gets my support. I'd buy Fiona in a heartbeat.

  • why do all you pc gamers have to bitch about the stupid origin requirement? You all act like it's going to kill you to just do it or don't buy the game, but don't complain about something so stupid. Do you really think you're too good to pay for a game than console gamers. Fucking faggots!

  • @CommanderCRH94 I don't like the Origin requirement because it means I'll need to install another program on my system for no purpose other than EA wanting to force themselves in my face more so than normal, I'm not even that big a fan of Steam, especially when the servers go down preventing me from playing a single player game.

That said I won't be pirating the game, I'll still support Bioware for making such a great series, just wish they'd not partnered up with EA.

  • @sw96 so let me understand what is so bad about the origin at mass effect 3 as a pc user i will buy it(not digital) to support bioware but again whats so bad??

  • @polor89 That's something that I'm trying to understand as well, being another PC user who pre ordered the game outside of Origin.

  • @CommanderCRH94 I'm a PC gamer and like would say: "I don't give a vorcha's ass" about the Origin requirement. It's a one time only single player activation and it's a minor setback to be online on Origin to play multiplayer(which I think I won't be playing much anyways). That being said, I don't buy games on Steam, most my games are physical copies and the only reason I've pre-orderd ME 3 on digital store on my country was the lack of a physical pre-order in any retailer here.

  • I swear if this doesn't also come out on Steam, I'm pirating it.

  • Finally SOPA dead... And now boycott Hollywood for trying to enforce such a thing on us... I will not Watch any Hollywood movie this year...

  • @sinekonata SOPA is far from dead, it is only temporarily shelved; and you forgot about PIPA, which is still a huge threat.

  • nope, never never never buy that overpriced apple ipad. Desktop is fine for my gaming at home and my phone for the portable. Have no need to buy a portable overpriced item.

  • Valve (steam) is against sopa, EA (and therefore Bioware) is for SOPA. Choose your sides!!

  • Meh. Origin-smorigin. The release groups will strip Origin from it in a day or two. Snag from torrents and play a DRM free version, regardless if you buy it or not.

  • Another brilliant job Force. I agree A+ on your quality. Keep up the good work as always.

  • Comment removed

  • EA i didnt even bother with crisis 2 or battlefield 3 guess i wont be after mass effect 3

  • Comment removed

  • I dont Play ME 1or2 because Steam. And now its DEAD!!! :D

EA suxx Anyway, look at Dragon Age2 n stuff. EA SUXX!!!!!

  • @Vince1243 ea didnt make dragon age, bioware did.

  • @MrUtubesux dude :/

Dragon Age 1 was made in 3-5? years. And it was fucking nice.

Dragon Age 2 was made in not even 1year. And its not BioWares fail.

The puplisher allways make pressure to the developer. And with Dragon Age1 BioWare show there skills^^ But with a motherfucking crap puplisher EA CRAP they just have 9Month to make a new game..... EA just hope for "DA1 was Epic, i buy 2 100%"

So its not BioWares Fault, just EA.

  • @Vince1243 the developers arent blameless. if they actually cared about the games that they make they would leave EA like the medal of honor team did.

  • @MrUtubesux Sad but True. But EA is one of the Biggtest puplishers. Even more Sad :/

  • @MrUtubesux Easier said then done. There is a lot happening "off screen", sometimes having sheer will alone isn't enough to get the situation resolved (contrary to popular belief). i.e They may wish to part with EA but haven't done so because of reasons the public isn't aware of and likely will never know about.

  • @AughustoCV you can rationalize all you want. they signed with EA because they are a huge publisher who probably offered them a lot of money. only thing holding them back would be contractual obligations, which they signed knowing EA's reputation. and their work has suffered for it.

  • @MrUtubesux I'm not "rationalizing", I'm stating that there may be reasons behind BioWare remaining with EA that we may never know about, and true, it might be for money that they joined in the first place but the reason why they keep bashing their heads against a wall along with EA may be more complicated then simply them "not actually caring about their games".

  • @AughustoCV there is nothing going on "behind the scenes". EA owns bioware, simple as that. if the devs choose to leave, they have to leave bioware and all of their intellectual properties behind and start a new company. they obviously dont want to do that because EA would just run all of their hard work into the ground. so yea it's understandable that they stay with EA.

  • @MrUtubesux The reasons you've just stated happen to be exactly what I tried to imply as going on "behind the scenes" (obviously unsuccesfully). But still, Mass Effect is a great series in a generation filled with no-content gaming crap, and the whole issue with being Origin exclusive is just a minor setback (for me at least), and it won't keep me from playing the third game.

  • love the t-shirt Force! :p

  • LOL, News "SOPA shelved"

    >everyone on video talking about pirating Mass Effect.

    That's USA for you I guess :/

  • In your FACE!

  • 7:41 Force does it every day. /end Internet.

  • Comment removed

  • i have console so i don't have to worry about origin lolololol noobs.

  • @zerox505 have fun with your dated hardware and inferior graphics and load times!

  • @MrUtubesux derp ow damn u pc gamers, i will have my revenge

  • @Kuvter Your assumption would be quite off. I'm fairly skinny and can't grow weight since I have not stop growing.

  • EA is ruining their games by using the BS Origin crap!

  • @igrenade Can't agree more, I'd rather be a "thief" then install spyware on my PC (and no, just because you say it isn't EA, doesn't makes it true).

  • @Skeithization

not EA as in don't support EA but support piracy instead. rereading helps.

  • @igrenade Then you needed to edit your post :)

my point still stands, I will not buy a game that contains spyware.

  • @Skeithization why edit my post when you're the one who misread it?

  • @igrenade Thats what I always do! YOHO YOHO BITCHES! COME TO TORTUGA AND CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!

  • =( i like mountain dew...... but force news best

  • A big fuck you to the pc gamers. The console gamers welcome you.

  • @wilkmn I guess the main reason I do not like Origin , is...

Why must I play a big Triple A Game through software that is still in 'beta' ?

  • I

    FUCKIN

    HATE

    ORIGIN

  • @jukteen416 i said the same thing for steam in 2004...

i used to say "i fucking hate steam"... but i gave steam a chance... and i still use steam

  • @jukteen416 origin gave me a virus

  • did he blink?

  • I think he actually blinked once in this video.

  • no n64 emulator on ipad... Asus Transformer here i come

  • ah force. shine on you crazy diamond.

  • I'm getting ME3 for 360 since that is where I have the other 2 on, so whatever.

  • i thought the d3 beta winners were being announced this episode?

  • I think i will crack mass effect 3

I were going to buy it but since they removed the rug under my feet, i guess i'll return the favor in kind !

What a mess this is turning out to be with content distribution programs, although i predicted this would happen, it still makes me disappointed.

One question remains what happens if for example steam shuts down, will i lose all my games i have paid for ?

Should i start pirating all games to not worry about this important question ?

    Bloody hell !

  • @labobo i do not think steam will be shutting down do to the fact ME3 is not going to be on it. There are plenty of other major game companies that run through steam. Bethesda for one is launching all there games through Steam. And Fallout, Morrowind series are just as big as ME. So i do not think you will have to worry about losing your games.

  • @exhilepsn "i do not think steam will be shutting down do to the fact ME3"

I know that, i'm thinking long term here.

I want to be able to play my games 60 years from now.

Who haven't become nostalgic and gotten the urge to play an old game..

For example quake 1, doom 2, etc..

60 years from now it'll be the above games and half-life 2, rage, quake 4, mass effect 1 & 2, etc..

  • @exhilepsn These copyright mess (requiring online connection with steam etc) affects nostalgic game play seriously.

I'm already having trouble with old copyright protections not working.

I can crack them or find a crack online so i can play usually but i'm saying i shouldn't have too .

I paid for the game, i should not have to go to these extremes to play an old game.

Now compare this to the pirated versions which are just click and play, which do you think i will choose ?

  • @labobo Steam doesnt require an online connection to play your games. Have you ever even used steam? If you dont have an active internet connection it askes if you want to play offline. I think you are just looking for any and all excuses to not have to pay for something.

  • @Mrjesse451 Lol, drinking the cool-aid have we ? Exactly what those for game copy protection say including other assumptions and lies.

I'm talking about the copy protection some new games have that come with steam.

I don't know if they integrated the protection with steam or not, i do not care as long as i can play without any mess.

Why would i need an excuse to not support the game companies using copy protections ?

They cause trouble for me !

  • @Mrjesse451 People give money and support to things they believe in. This is the same thing.

For example i wait to buy a game i know have a very nasty copy protection until a crack have been released so i know i can be 100% sure i can play the game now and 50 years from now.

I support freedom of speech and fully open government too and do not support SOPA and PITA etc...

Does that make me a thief and a pirate too ?

Do you think those are excuses too ?

  • @exhilepsn Pay lots of money for pain and misery now and later or give the game companies that use copy protections the finger and download the pirated version that is future proof ?

  • For crying out loud !

Why can't content companies agree on a standard backend so i don't need over 50 fucking logins and distributions programs on my machine !

With a standard you could use which ever program you want, so if you are conferrable with steam then you could continue to use it and not forced to learn something new...

Not to mention being forced into yet another shady license agreement that gives you no rights what so ever for the games you have paid for !

  • I was force fed. Nom nom nom

  • I wont be buying Mass Effect 3 until it comes out on steam. I don't want my games in different places... and I thought bioware wasn't one of EA's dogs. I guess they got put in their place.

  • Quad murp

  • The origin is EA's doing, while it sucks because I enjoy having all my games on steam in one simple place, it won't stop me from playing ME3, but it is just a minor annoyance. Origin is still new and has a lot of kinks to work out, but it's not terrible and impossible to use.

  • @RedDotMustDie I agree with this comment 100% Yeah so what I have to use origin to play BF3. It doesn't even bother me. It's like these Apple freaks who only buy iPods because their brain only allows them to understand one device.

  • MOUNTAIN DEW CRAP??! HOW DARE YOU SIR, HOW DARE YOU!

  • pulled my pre-order Me3

  • @TheAk3m1 You sir are sticking it to the man. I applaud you!

  • It's more like a 10 second ad, so I don't see any reason why to get angry about that... Great video once again Force!

  • i can’t believe mass effect 3 will not be on steam when 1 and 2 are!

  • @sc2AlphaWing Blame EA for being... well EA.

  • @sc2AlphaWing

    who really cares?

  • @klikk0

Yes, simply because you love being watched by EA through their Origin.

  • me3 requires origin to play on pc. In other news me3 most pirated game ever.

  • Usually, when Force tries to be funny he's not, but that Mountain dew and Doritos joke was perfectly executed. I hope Force deliver jokes in the same way, cause it complemented his style. Unserious in a serious way.

  • @Jallis370 I like his jokes, maybe you don't think he is funny but many of us do.

  • SOPA just took down wikipedia

  • @MetalBrawl1 No. Wikipedia's taking themselves down because of SOPA.

  • @MetalBrawl1 Yah, that was wikipedia taking down itself to a black screen for 24 hours in protest.

  • @MetalBrawl1 ur kidding?

  • Do you play SWTOR force?

  • Force...

    I love you...

    <3...

  • Buy the original game and then download crack only for origin .

  • @PcGamer4ever1 This sounds like the best hack, but still supports EA and their DRM.

I stopped buying CDs when they started to put DRM on them. I had no problem burning my old CDs to my laptop, and playing them wherever I go. Every so often my burned CDs had to be put back into my computer for them to be verified that I own them. I see how this in theory could hinder piracy, however it was a hindrance to me, a paying customer. When they screw over paying customers, they've gone to far.

  • I don't mind ME3 not being on Steam, but I do mind being forced into an Origin account just to play the game. Stand alone installs should still be possible.

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ORIGIN!

  • EA killed the Mass Effect series... Thanks.

  • @IJustOwnz mass effect series stared off with ea so i don't understand

  • @214crazydude No it didn't. Microsoft Game Studios were the publishers of the first Mass Effect game.

  • man I'm glad gaming on console is not such a pain in the ass

  • Force, I think that if you want to be professional, you shouldn't said "don't eat that crap" after naming some food.

  • Origin has a lot of issues, imo. Steam is much more stable for me. I won't buy any more games on Origin, at least until they fix some of the issues. However, I refuse to pirate games, no matter what.

Also, THQ should make Titan's Quest 2...

Keep up the great gaming news and D3 info!

  • @juniperred12 remember when steam first came everybody was negative at it to. u cant compare steam and origin YET steam had like 6 years to prove themselves i give origin 2 years of proving time.

  • ipads are way overpriced to be gaming platforms. I thought the 3ds was a lot when i bought it for 250. no way im paying a 1k to play on a touch screen, despite the other advantages. I'll buy a kindle fire for browsing and reading and keep my portable gaming devices

  • now that I know you make youtube contents full-time... good job and well done. You are my only link to gaming news... keep up the good work.

just a thought... I kinda want to see you play Dark Souls if you are ever up to it... I think ppl should be thoroughly entertained to watch you play

  • Thank you very much for the heads up, sir.

In my own case, I'll just get Origin anyway, because I already pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 for the PC, so if I have to use Origin to play a game I paid good money for, then I guess I'll just have to use Origin.

  • Mind you force, forcing your viewers to watch 1 minute of footage they'd rather not see is verry annoying for them.

You might think one minute is not long, but it really is verry verry long and i hope they pay you accordingly for such a long add ;)

  • ps vita all the way its smaller and tougher than the ipad

  • Doritoes and Mountain Dew are boss, y u hatin Force?!?!?!?!?!

  • @ggsnipes Learn about healthy foods and non-healthy foods, then you'll understand. Also look at how in shape Force is, now (and I'm assuming here) look at yourself.

  • why all the hate towards origin? During the past few months of BF3, origin is pretty much alright to me. Except with less sales though. To people who say you will pirate it then, stop being so petty. I would rather they release it on Origin than to not even bring it at all to PC platform

  • I think this is a first for a Bloomberg report be named in a games/Esport vod like this. Your credibility is now up 10 times (at least for me)

  • Everyone should signup for origin with a fresh email, so you can sell the account.

  • fuck sopa, sopa can go fuck their own shemale mothers and get rape by they gay retarded fathers.

    But I'll buying ME3

  • No, because Apple sucks c:

  • Comment removed

  • I was looking toward supporting ME3, but since it runs on orgin.. Well, i love the internet ^^

  • damm, can i cancel my pre-order?

  • @MataHari1994 seriously?

  • If Origin is going to compete with steam.. they gotta atleast make something that inst utter crap compared to steam..

  • @MrMazvaz Your sentence isn't ordered right.

They gotta make something that isn't utter crap to origin.

Steam fucking sucks. Setiously. constant crashes or *servers are too busy* bullshit.

  • ME only origin ? they just pushed back potential customers there (high five origin haters), gj EA games, i know they don't give a shit about their customers but still not grabbing all the possible moneyz is not their style

  • Time to bust out the mountain dew and doritos. lulz

  • omg the shirt. dont go that route

  • You don't like Mountain Dew and Doritos???

    I love them!

  • Your content reminds me of TB, but you are definitely not so cynical :D

  • Not on steam? not for me

  • holy crap i totally didn't see it coming

  • Screw Origin...

  • @Djordad I read somewhere that you can actually buy the retail version of the game and use , probably not very liked software by EA, (a crack it's called I believe) to start and play ME3 (read: No-origin crack).

  • This VictusPrime (1st top comment) is saying hes not keen on D3... hes not KEEN on DIABLO 3 !!!???? JOHNY WTF !!!!

  • Mass Effect 3 on Origin, expected indeed, whelp, off to the high seas.

  • Origin is thoroughly pointless. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just a web store.

  • @Kastoli1 You are deluded. They have the absolute opposite of what you said.

  • that's it I'm quitting school and becoming a youtube partner :D

  • Hey Force, you're quickly becoming my favorite media channel on games. You keep tabs on the games that interest me the most, D3 especially, and I love the Starcraft 2 games you comment on. Your voice and general style of presentation is excellent. I hope you'll be around for a long time!

  • How does an Ipad compete with a Playstation 3/4 ????

    Two different animals

  • I would never get an iPad, don't feel like supporting Apple

  • What the FUCK. Origin can suck a dick Im pirating that shit, good job losing money EA.

  • Stupid origin, I love how steam works, i love having most of my games logged on a single location. I never tried origin, so I dont know if it will be better or worse. But this is just annoying competition because you will have to have both accounts which is only annoying and will take away from BOTH servers usability. I hope later games will again be available on both servers so players get a REAL choice and wont be forced to make both accounts.

  • The world we live in is sad... dont wonder why some turn to piracy when they dont have the money to buy games that they REALLY like. I know its wrong to do that, but if the person wants to game he has no other choice :) and admit it, many of the population has downloaded illigally. Dont give me no's...

  • @chermobil2

If you cant afford agame you shouldnt buy it, end of story :P

Just becouse people do so doesnt make it right... xD

  • *Looks at title*

    Not on 360 it doesn't :)

  • good episode force!!

  • hey force, i like what you are doing, i watch every force feed and some of your other uploads,

its to bad im not into starcraft commentairies or skyrim playtroughs. but i think you have great potential for doing more kinds of video's. your style and professionalism of commentating has more into it,

so would you like to create more diverse content is my question for you. and with diverse i mean more content about a wider spectrum of games, like an indie vlog or sumthing.

  • Oh I don't need to get it on a console to play it just because of origin. There are other ways :)

  • You seem fresh and healthy

  • I was taking a sip of my mountain dew when Force was saying 'bust out the mountain dew and doritos' and almost choked when he said 'don't eat that crap.'

  • @Force I personally generally never click on ads (I'm sure most don't) - If we click on them do you earn more (ALA Google AdWords), or do you earn the same regardless? If you earn more, I'm sure many would start clicking on the stupid things to support you, if they only knew :)

  • i wouldent buy an apple prodoct if my life depended on it

  • @saligari666 Agree! We should have a macbook burning.

  • @saligari666 Then you are retarded.

  • @MarkOctavian hey apple user what are you doing at a gaming chanel?go watch a "how to be hipster with overpriced-underpowerd hardware and retarted software-yup when you dont need a zip program you dont really need a computer-in a retarted cafe like starbucks" chanel

  • Sorry for the double post but...

This game: Ruin / Warriors Lair - looks a lot like 'Torchlight' , which I have been waiting for a long time and if it does not come out before Diablo 3 , I fear it's sales will be devastated.

Please Force, with your long reaching eyes , can find any info on the hold up for Torchlight 2 ???

  • Origin in it's current format IS a smouldering heap of excrement ! , I love BF3 !

But, Double click a Desktop Icon to launch a Client, Click a button inside the client, wait for a web browser to launch, find a server inside the web browser window, click join, wait for game to launch...

    Origin = Not Good !

  • @shcdpnei Just have Origin launch when Windows launches. Then have an icon that is directly dragged from battlelog to your desktop so here how it goes then:

    - You start your computer

    - Get into desktop

    - Double click the web browser icon(that is connected to battlelog)

    - Find a server and play
