Wow, that boy at the end sure gets more than a mouthful there. I don't really get the part with the face scramble though... not that I'm complaining, but exactly how is it that your nose, mouth, ears and eyes moving around on your head is a "fruity blast"?

Nope, even before fruit heads and these fruity blasts, kids were shot up on "Gushers" of fruit juice in public places to some sort of sky-zone around the place. The Fruity Blast and Sour Blast gushers came after, and before Fruitomic punch-- the first Gushers commercial with fruity heads (about 1995/1994 ).

I wanted To be a Fruit when I was 4. It was a Rip Off and they barly had juice in them. disapointment! But its good anyway.

I think this commercial predates any of the fruit heads.
Not sure if they ever used anything other than CGI for the effects, will look again
