Then I wasn't Christian because of it. I became an agnostic. I read it to try to see the possibility of God...the bible contradicted itself more than any work ever written..and was wrong on so many accounts, so there went my faith.

If he created all things based on foreknowledge then he willingly created sin, etc. The Bible obvious contradicts itself and is not perfect, so where is there any evidence of a perfect god? Animals and plants aren't perfect they die. Suns aren't perfect they explode, etc. So where is any evidence of perfect, I don't see it.

@ndockett81 Atheists don't all agree with idea of doing wrong, it was the Theists that opressed slaves, women, allowed killing of children if they didn't go along with their nonsense, etc. So Atheism liberates people from these sins, evil, wrongs whatever you want to call it, but it was bad. How is living a life of sin more fun, drunk drivers often end up in hospital or dead, etc. Doesn't sound like more fun to me and didn't need a god to tell me.

Theyre selling for a buck in case lots, like $6 if you buy 1, and if you buy 1000 it was said to be even cheaper than a buck a book

Frankly, I doubt that you did. High school graduates have generally learned enough to distinguish a BIOLOGICAL Theory (Evolution) from an ASTRONOMICAL Theory (the formation of the Earth). This is certainly all of much concern, but I believe it won't really change anything. Society as a whole is evolving beyond the need for pacifying superstition. This book won't likely convert anyone, only solidify the beliefs of already practicing bible thumpers.

I'm with you, and so are many of my friends. I would like to point out that they have already announced that Ray Comfort has REWRITTEN the 50 page intro, and that they will be giving away 100,000 copies.
The creationists/christians have to PURCHASE the books to be given away. funny how their "morals and "values" disappear when there's a profit to be made
I want to request that you update the list of universities as mush as possible. I have friends visiting the CA campuses, but I'm in AZ :(

everything costs money and someone has to pay for it. But you don't point out that this is being done out of the kindness of their hearts. This is their hard earned money, and because they know the power of the gospel and the truth, they're willing to spend it on someone else's benefit instead of buying a new car or whatever. But you don't see that because you don't believe there is a God, and since there is no God, they're just wasting money on an archaic agenda in your mind.
