The only thing more vicious about any "pitbull" breed is an irresponsible owner and the media. I would die for my Azul and vice versa. Ban the deed not the breed.

First of all, torchur is not a word... if you meant torture, then I think you should reconsider your views..., secondly, They are agressive by nature, and are predisposed genetically to that behavior. Countless men woman and children have died because of these dogs. Dogs are a result of humans domesticating them, there breeds are products of humans. This was a mistake, a bad one, these are beutiful dogs, but not good pets.
The truth is that no matter how much people try to make dogs into play toys and human-like beings, they are ALL traceable back to Wolves. They are also Carnivorous creatures which means they crave meat, (no matter the source). Keep them as controlled pets, not as "members of the family."
If you really want a pit bull...how about adopting one of the thousands that are in animal shelters, euthianized every day, because no one wants them?! I have two pits, one I adopted from the HS shortly before she was scheduled to be euthanized and the other an adopted stray, and they're both loving, loyal companions who adore everyone. Why the need to BUY when so many deserving pit bulls are doomed to death in shelters every single day?
Every time I see a video like this, I cry. I cry because I'm happy to see that there are people that don't mistreat and fight their Pit Bulls. They are sweet animals and they're like every other well-trained dog.
Any dog can turn vicious, but Pit Bulls are singled out because of their muscular jaws. I can't believe that anyone would be afraid of this gentle animal.
For my next dog (after I get a Newfoundland), I'm going to get a Pit Bull and use him/her to show people how sweet they can be.
I'm 59 years old and I've owned many wonderful dogs in my lifetime (GSDs, Dobermans, Great Pyrs, Belgian Sheepdogs, etc.). Until 6 years ago I HATED Pit Bulls AND Pit mixes. Today? A Pit Bull and two Pit mixes own my heart! Too many people, like I USED to be, judge these dogs without really knowing anything about them other then what they've HEARD. I'm a responsible owner and my dogs live with me (NOT chained in the back yard and starved to death). Sweetest dogs I've EVER owned!
Because of responses when I told people that Shasta was an APBT, I changed to calling her a Staffy for Staffordshire Terrier. They didn't put the two breeds together because the media and government hadn't done their brainwahing then.
Once the ban in Ontario finally became reality, the APBT, Staffordshire Terrier, American Shaffordshire and all dogs with simular traits were banned and needed to be Grandfathered in order for them to be legal in Ontario under strict rule and NO ROOM for mistake.
Really tho the thing is most attacks are not by true APBTs. There are many dogs the media labels as the pitbull type wich includes like 25+ breeds so noone ever really knows if its really a true APBT most people even owners cant pick out a pitbull from a few other breeds because they all look alot alike. To bad people just go off of media hype
Like everything else in life....HUMANS don't want to take responsibilty for their dogs behavior due to their own ignorance of the breeds traits. That goes for EVERY breed.
So many people see a puppy that is so cute and adorable and that's it...they have to have it. No thought was given to anything other than perhaps what the cost is. I love it. I have to have it attitude, especially first time dog owners that may have been brought up with a dog most of their lives but never responsible for one. Somehow they think their dog grew up knowing it's manners on it's own and it's laid back manners came with age.
Good question. That's what we're in court fighting the Ontario Liberal government. ALL dogs can bite and kill and it's a known fact that even small dogs have killed children. The responsiblility lays on the dogs owners and we want a country wide registry where it investigates why the dog bit and reoffenders ( the owners) if found that they are either not training the dog properly or abusing the dog will be charged (fined and jail time) and never allowed to own a dog again.
@no1conners Oh God, no offense to owners and fans of little dogs but I personally cannot stand them! They are so annoying and if they were the size of pitbulls they would do way more harm. Just because they are small they back off. I love pitbulls because if they were to protect you, they wont back down haha. I LOVE PITBULL AM STAFFS

i agree with this video and the comments other people have made. i do not have a pit bull, but i did know one very well. (a pit bull mix actually...but mostly pit bull). and i was 5 when i knew her and she was a sweet as can be.
i think it is also because yes, pit bulls were raised to fight. it is in their blood. they are protective and headstrong. but so are bulldogs. they can sense fear, even from across the room. and their instinct is to attack. which is why there are so many accidents
You have that exactly right. Between politicians and the media, they spread the very worst without knowledge of what breed the dog really is. They ignore the fact that irresponsible owners have anything to do with the dogs behaviour, being a Bullie or any other breed.
It's humans that are the dangerous ones, yet the Bullies get the bad rap.
I'm 65 years old and just got my first pit bull. She is a sweetie and so smart! I rescued her from a rural southern high kill shelter. If more senior citizens got pit bulls, maybe fewer insecure kids would see them as some symbol of toughness and would be less inclined to want one. They ARE high energy
terriers so if you aren't young, better adopt a middle-aged pittie :)
Although I'm not a senior, I do have many chronic health issues and disabilities. I also have the most wonderful APBT, here in restricted Ontario, Canada.
It's been difficult because of her breed, but finally Shasta is on record as my Certified Service/Guide Dog. She nows me better than I do myself and has an excellent intuition.
She can take the bumps of grocery carts, wheel chairs, etc. without going ballistic.
Loud noises don't faze her except the fire alarm. Her strength pulls groceries, etc
I know it might be a little (lot) long. LOL But I got such a responce with pictures from bullie owners that it was hard not to add them. So since that meant two songs anyway, I thought why not use them all. After all, bullie owners are VERY PROUD of their pup-kids as recognized by the pictures. :)

Fearless but loving and intelligent,in many years of grooming ,rescuing&training dogs she is by far the steadiest animal I have ever come accross!

My Shasta doesn't even chase wildlife. It's all how they're raised, just like any other dog.
Neglect a dog of any breed and you're looking at problems.
