In the end this will help the Tekken community grow. I don't know if it will be as big as the SF4 scene, but it will be definatally be better than it is now. If it makes you feel any better the PS3 version will be used in the major tournys (evo, SBO etc.) and all the best competition will be on PS3 for the most part.

well, i do understand that. but by that logic why doesn't halo come out on ps3? of course it is 1st party but if they wanted that community grow...why not just do it?

namco didnt see the need to make the tekken community grow for 15 years, and all of a sudden now they do

Well, stuff like Halo is only on xbox because it's pretty much the main reason people buy that console. It's a microsoft product. Tekken doesn't share the same loyalty, there was a tekken on GBA haha. As much as I hate to admit, 360 is the bigger seller, and the bottom line to companies is money. I wanted it to be a ps3 exclusive as well, but I can see why they made it multi.

almost half of their system sale are off of bundles for exclusive games, or exclusive games, and then a system...

if the games weren't exclusive, they'd lose system sales in the hundreds of thousands....

I agree, I've always played it on playstation and I'm definitely buying it for ps3 only. It's a shame that PS lost that title as an exclusive. I think the 360 controller is terrible for fighting games anyways haha.

Well, when I made this video it didn't make much sense, but Tekken 5 has been announced for 360 since then. I haven't done any ps3 case mods because the material is just too difficult to work with... it won't really hold paint like a 360.

360's d-pad is terrible... which is important in fighting games... plus I played all of the others on Ps1 and 2. I have dark resurrection on PS3 already, it's great :D

Eh well the same can be said about shooting games with the dual shock. Atleast microsoft was smart and released the new controllers with fixed Dpads, oh wait thats only for europe, WTF MICROSOFT?!

yup, I get me shooters on 360 and my fighters on ps3. I wish they brought the fixed d pads here, its pretty silly that they dont. There are mods to improve the d pad though, I use it on my controller... but its not as good as ps3. I actually use convex analog sticks from a ps2 controller on my 360 controller because it helps me aim better. So yeah, triggers from 360+ ps2 analog sticks= awesome.

i am sure namco will have the sense to put tekken on 360 i mean surly they don't want playstation fan boys to think there masterpiece is by sony cause thats what would happen if they continue down the path of making tekken ps only. i think they will put tekken on 360 lets face it the game deserves a multi format release. tekken 6 360 and perhaps a old tekken game on xbox live arcade that would be good.

I wouldn't be surprised if it went on both platforms. I prefer the 360 controller for actions and shooting games, but I like the D pad on the ps3 for fighting games. I will get it on ps3 no matter what, besides I own like no games for my poor ps3 it's getting lonely haha.

thanks! Actually, I remember seeing photos from a tekken tournament and half of the participants were actually female! So, it's not as rare as you think :)

I use a dremel drill to cut, if you want to do something like this, then the dremel is the best option.
