@icehockeywarehouse i hear the addictions are the best wheel out, but iv also heard they are better for heavier players. Im only 5'8 138 lbs, am i better off with another wheel?
Just wondering but you said its not the same boot as the x60 ice skate, is there a reason? I have the Rbk 6ks that are only 8 months old and the boot seems ridiculously soft compared to an ice boot. I know their not the top of the line skate but I mean they are pretty much shot. I was wondering if there are boot issues if I were to take an ice boot and convert it to inline. I am 170lbs and play roughly 4-5 hours a week.
@rsw0607 Yeah they are not exactly the same, but very close. They have the same fit but the RX60 is slightly softer than the X60. There should not be an issue taking an ice skate and turning it into a inline skate. I know several people that have done it with no problems.
can anyone see if they can find a inline or rollor hockey league in halifax, nova scotia, canada i can find one anywere inbox me or just comment thanks!!
@Xxsideshow22xX No I do not get to skate on all of the skates. We are in the process of developing some in depth stick reviews with ratings and all, so hopefully that will be coming together shortly.
Bauer sizing is about one and a half sizes down from your shoe size and those Mission skate ran true to shoe size. This means you would probably need to go with a size 8.0. The widths are approximately the same.
@icehockeywarehouse Thanks Erik... Are these RX60's that much better than the RX25s? Im going from a Wicked 3 2008 model, and those are caving on me... I am 180lbs and skate pretty aggressively. I heard both models are built very similarly.
@kevinm06 Everyone I know that has the RX60's strongly believes they are worth every penny. The boot is stiffer and they use a stronger outsole, so that alone will help prevent them from "caving" on you. The nicest upgrades are actually below the boot though. Bauer uses their Magnesium frame on the RX60's to make them super light, but still very strong. Bauer also uses the Addiction wheels, arguably the best wheel on the market.
just curious if anyone else is having the same problems i am having with the addiction wheels. i've skated on them about 6 times, and they are already crumbling/falling apart down the seam of the wheel. labeda said that these wheels should last a while, but that's the quickest i've ever broken down a wheel.
@joein5six2 Several players that work here use that wheel and haven't had any issues. One player has used them for two house league seasons, pick-up once a week, and a tournament season and they are still holing strong for him. The stock wheels on the RX60's could be too soft for you. You may need to bump up to the Orange Addiction wheels.
Please compare the Boot of the RX60 and Bauer Supreme One95. I could turn the One95 to a Inline Skates with the same chassis as the RX60 and the final price would almost the same. Which boot is stiffer? And Lighter?
Please answer as soon as possible, I am coming up from Brasil do play Narch FInals and I will buy news skates... Thanks in Advance!

@ryanman54 bro i got the 8k's probaly the best inline skates i have ever bought. they are perfect for every thing and also i find them more comfterable and lighter than the rx60
you get wat you pay for tho. these skates are more durable, stiffer and lighter than the rx25. you get these if u skate 5-7 times per week and they will last
no offense to people who have them but who would buy 650 dollar roller blades. r u nuts?!?! the rx:25s r basically the exact same skate. i have them with rink rat hornet xxx wheels
Yes. I would recommend changing the wheels. Even know they have a harder rating they are designed for indoor use and are nice expensive wheels, so I would not want to risk wearing through them too fast.
Just get custom skates made, i got my custom skates made, Eastons S7 with Mission Hi-lo Chassy Set up with Dynisties at the front, and world cups at the back, Had no problem :)
why would you pay so much for blades? i would pay that for ice hockey skates and i did for le easton s17 but i have like nike/bauer enforcer 20's and they are wrecked
Yes, our roller hockey website. inlinewarehousedotcom. Inline Warehouse offers free 2 day shipping on this skate. Plus earn even more savings by coming an I WIN member of our site.
do you think maybe around christmas they'll come out with the jr. size? because this skate is probably the best skate on the market and it matches my team colors. so i want them pretty bad.
Both are great skates! Which one is better is going to depend on how they fit you.
Personally, I would choose the Bauer RX60 skates. I love the fit of the Vapor skates with the low volume and aggressive stance. I was really happy to see them use the same fit as the Vapor Ice skates. Also the Addiction wheels are a nice touch.
Is that a serious question? Cost. The components that make up a an inline hockey skate are much more expensive than the components that make up an ice skate. Everyone agrees that ice is better than roller but that doesn't make roller skates cost less to make.

@99pittsburghpenguins The RX05 or RX 15 are set up for outdoor play. You could also get a higher level skate and swap in some outdoor wheels.

Thanks

@jeavonssteez Well smaller skate will usually come with smaller wheels. But I suppose that should work being that the difference is still 4mm.

I tried X:60 skates and
type D are narrow
type EE don't offer a good heel suport for my foot
Whould backing a pair o type D be a solution?
Is there a difference between X:60 and RX:60 skate boot? (in sizing/ foot format)

Wich one is wider RX:60 or Mission Boss SE?
Thanks

@io2k7 There is no sizing difference in the boots for the X60 and the RX60. The Boss SE would run a little wider than the RX60.
