  • she can't be native japanese. Her pronunciation is really bad.

  • she can't be native japanese. Her pronunciation is really bad.

  • Not a native speaker - the stresses and some vowels have pretty heavy English accents on then.

  • me love u long time haha

  • Wow so many characters into a 3 letter sentence.

  • 7 suppose to be Nana

  • @kyla1ful It's either of the two. I first learnt that it is 'shee-chee'....then I heard they use "Nana" as well...' & I asked, and it is both.

  • Good try, but those romanizations suck

  • they forgot the des after watashino nomiewa _____ des

  • KONNITCHIWA MEANS GOOD AFTERNOON ACCORDING TO MY SECCOND EDTITION BARRON JAPANESE GRAMMER BOOK!

  • @SailorChibiTitan I'd say you can't really make a direct word-to-word equivalence between Japanese and English.

I studied Japanese for like 3 years, and lived in Japan for 8 months, and I'd say Konnichiwa is closer to Hello... but, indeed, when you'd say "good evening" you don't use konnichiwa but konbanwa.

But never expect a direct translation. Many Japanese words and phrases are meant for Japanese way of thinking and Japanese situations.

  • I've seen this porn!

  • beeeeeee

  • She's not japanese, she just tries to sound japanese. this is ridiculous. She has the accent of a first year leaner.

  • her japanese accent is strange

    she's not japanese chinese

  • Ok heres a question and i can never seem to find a right answer on the web...

I have Both the Hiragana and Katakana alphabet memorized and have studied many phrases... but how do i use the Japanese alphabet to translate to english.. this is the only part confusing me..

  • @huntsmaster911 One thing is learning the characters, and another thing is learning the language. In order to translate, you need to learn the language, that is, grammar and a lot of new words.

What you can "translate" now is your name, using katakana, and, yes, there are many English words (pronounced Japanesely and written in katakana) in the Japanese language, but most of the language is composed of, well, Japanese words.

  • @JavierRuiz82 So you're saying its more of a 'You have to experience it for yourself' language and not so much a text-book language? :)

Thanks for the input so far :)

  • @huntsmaster911 Exactly. There are many words that you cannot really provide a translation for; at best you could say "you use this word when in a situation such as..."

For instance, VERY COMMON Japanese phrases would be literally translated as

-"I made you wait!" (meaning "I'm sorry I'm late")

-"I hope we can work together soon" (actually meaning "nice to meet you")

-"Receiving from a higher being!" (meaning something like "let's eat" or "we should be thankful for this food" or something )

  • she hot lol

  • GO TO DA CHOPPER!!!!

So you want me to say five with the chopper?

    NNNOOOOOO!

  • I like Angelica's expression in the video.

And she use a softer voice to pronounce Japanese.

  • To see written wors nearby is much useful, then only hear them. Thanks

  • I thought 7 was "nana"

  • @NeptunePrincess04 shichi and nana are just different ways of saying it. for 4 you could also say "shi" or "yon"

  • @NeptunePrincess04

    Hi, NeptunePrincess04 :))

7 could be pronounced either "Shichi" or "Nana", depending on how the number is used in sentences.

I don't really know how to explain when to use shichi and nana........I'm sorry.....:'((

  • It's diffitult

  • doe ee tash ee ma SHITay

  • Whats with the pronunciation spelling. A lot of the "i" sounds are spelled "ee", hajimemashite, genki. Please use something like katakana and stop using english words, english has ambiguous pronunciations.

  • ah ah ah eight!

  • God damn her accent is crap.

  • boku wa is for boy wa tashi wa is for girls

  • @whitelotus77 Men can use watashi when speaking politely.

  • she is good

  • Made a common mistake with the numbers 4 and 7... 4 is 'yon' and 7 is 'nana'. when they are individual numbers. 'shi' and 'shichi' are only used for "special" terms...

    @tomochan

"Konbanwa" is not really "good night", but more like "good evening"... You don't say "good evening" to you friends before falling asleep, right?

  • nice expression :D

    very nice !!! that's a girl !

not greek, indian or french bit*hes ! ;-/

how could you put on the screen these sluts, and yet - to have sucha beautiful girls ?

p.s. russian and bulgarian are also good looking... WITHOUT any shameless postures, dresses or behave !

You (guys from MOJO) really have to turn off that VITIATION!

Everyone recognizes what you're intending to put in our brains!

STOP! People are well-aware with the ''hidden'' messages of shameless attitude!

  • @PeterTenev you are trying to stand up for the girls in your country and I understand it and I congratulate you about it. However, no one gives you the right to call greeks, indians and french girls bitc hes. I'm greek and I feel very insulted.

  • salena

  • Holy shit she's hot !!!

Nawet nie zdajecie sobie sprawy jak mocno bym ją jebał ;)

  • 4 acutally is yong... "shi" also means 4 but is a bit offensive cause it also means "death"... (no shit)

  • both are ok

the young say shi-ne (means "die!") or shi-ne-ba-ii-noni (wish u die) alot as fuck you, fuck off, you moron etc especially to curse or joke between friends

  • i would say good night is not oyasuminasai...I mean it`s good night but it`s good night only when you`re going to bed like with pyjamas and saying like i`m off to bed. the right like saying good night to friends or whatever would be konbanwa.

and yeah she has a little accent but i think she did great actually!

  • haha ,tiếng nhật không tệ chút nào , Cô bé có chất giọng thanh thót ,như tiếng ca của nữ thần , thật kỳ diệu,chúa đã tạo ra 1 con người như thế .

  • She don't speak native Japanese.

    But I can understand it.

These words isn't written on Romaji rule(Hepburn rominization).

  • i want her mouth on my dick head lol

  • haha

  • Her accent is not really correct, but I'm sure a Japanese person would understand it.

Note: Sumimsaen does NOT mean "please", it means "excuse me"

And I think it's a little overdoing it by writing "Doe Ee Tash Ee Ma Shitay" instead of just "doitashimashite"

  • lolz, I agree with you totally XD She needs to get her accent right, she sounded like a friggin robot or an answering machine.

  • She sounds like robot

  • Sugoi

  • your disgusting, loser

  • c'mon man don't be a player hater, its freakin funny.Devil boy

  • P.S:Im not a boy. HA!

  • Her accent is a little iffy.

  • rofl x

  • holy fuck...

  • so sexy!

    i love u

  • wtf u guys really fall in love with those girls???

  • @villadavid4ever

I'll speak for my self but hell yes i can! lol i want a gf like that too so if any Japanese ladies read this, feel free to contact! haha

  • They really need to get an uglier person to teach these lessons.

I can't concentrate on anything but her.

OMG those lips!! MMmmmm!!! *heart melting*

  • @cncredalert17 her relaxed smile and expression. soothing voice.

also her nearsighted eyes behind glasses. so attractive.

  • Its harder to understand seeing it in English. It doesn't look like proper Romaji.

  • DSL right there lol

  • holy mother of god...

  • definitely

  • She's not Japanese or Vietnamese cos she always looked at the words before speaking out. She could be Chinese

  • why is people assuming she's VNese just because she has a video on translating from vietnamese to english also ?

she wasnt even fluent , so she cant be native VNese just like how people are saying she's not native japanese .

  • holy shit... I want those lips around my o hai yo go za i mas

  • kurwa, nie da się spamiętać choćby jednego zwrotu! co za język!

  • in bulgarian ko ni chu wa is like what didnt you hear we make fun when we have some tourists in my town :D

  • ...and ten...jew :D

  • No, Nittvinge.

    It's spelled Jyu.

    Not "Jew".

  • Just joking :)

  • She should not make up phonetic English subtitles. Always use proper romaji subtitles for students.

  • 0:30 arigatou gozaima"SHUuu!" lol

0:39 O genki desu ka, this is a question the pitch of the ka shud be go uppppp

    nice vid!

  • perfect english accent

  • she probably grew up speaking english, dumbass. not every asian person is a foreigner.

  • she is actullay veit. if you saw her veit translate vis she speaks clear veit

  • i dont really care what specific country she's from, i was just annoyed that someone else on the comments was ignorant enough to say that her accent is good, as if its impossible for an asian person to actually grow up speaking English.

  • holy fuck shes hot

  • What are y'all talking about, I'm Japanese and I think she has a perfect accent in "proper" Japanese. She's saying it slow so you dumbasses can follow it. Keep in mind the Japanese you hear in Anime or other comedic shows uses different dialect (mostly southern). She's using the proper old Japanese which isn't used much anymore.

  • you can say nana for seven also :) My boyfriend is Japanese and he stated there are no "hello" in japanese. Instead they are good morning(ohayo), good afternoon(konichiwa), good evening(konbanwa), and good night(oyasumi). There's a slang for hello and it's "yo"but never used as formality.

  • what the fuck? when she is speakin japanese it dont sounds like japanese. and she cant speak viet even -.- that a crap girl!

  • Comment removed

  • Hi! my name is Angelica and I am full of myself! no wonder her phonetic translation of Viet is so far off! what are you and what are you doing in this video???

  • a final question!? what's ur original nationality!?

  • thats not a language :D

  • 私はオランダからあり、日本語を話す

  • 本当に?涼しい!

  • I could've swore that on one website, Ie meant "house" but I've always thought of it as "no".

  • "ie" does mean house, but "iie" means no. ~theyre pronounced very very similarly... "ie" turns to something like "yay" and "iie" is like "ee-yay"

  • Thanks for clearing that up

  • ie = house

    iie = no

    ^^

  • damn dats a lot of words for one word in english. No wonder japanese pepl talk so fast.

  • They should have used romanji there

thos english letter cominations were confusing

  • They were confusing. They broke up the words which made them seem longer than they actually were.

  • I agree. I've actually already learned all of these phrase by using romanji and it was easier than the english phonetics version shown here.

  • wow thats a very hard to learn language!

  • You just have to learn the vowels and then saying the words and understanding them with English spelling comes easier. Writing is harder.

  • there r characters in japanese language, the english up there r jus helping you to pronounce...

  • wait, isnt

    7 in japanese, Nara?

  • 7 could mean Nana or Shichi

  • sumimasen means "excuse me",not "please".Please is "onegai" in japanese :S.If you try teaching people something, make sure you got it either 100% right or check your vids for flaws, please :p.

  • This vid is for women. Males who speak japanese tend to be less formal with shit and leave things off somethimes. Also, the pronunciation of words vary from male to female. Males who go to japan and say things that they learned from females sound like...well...faggots.

If a female learns from a male, she seems like a tomboy, and whatnot.

Just thought I'd throw this in.

  • There are feminine and masculine words in the Japanese language, just like in Spanish, but the phrases that are taught in this video are formal and unisex.

  • they are all right, all they are doing is spelling the way you would pronounce it

  • O Ya Sue Me Na Sai = Goodnight wow i wonder how much of the screen a sentence will take.

  • oh my god too difficult :)
