To Todd, Rick and Bill, it's so hard to judge these things but I think you're trying to help a guy out genuinely. Or at least that's how it looks to me. I'm sorry to see so many negative comments here, what a hard thing it is sometimes to 'speak the truth in love'.

Rick Warren talks about transparency in this video?? How convenient now that time has past and they all had time to get their stories straight. There was NO transparency during the time of the scandal. They covered everything up and lied.

When you claim healing powers, when you set yourself up as a spiritual authority over people, when those people donate large sums of money to you, when you claim to receive visitations from angels named Emma and claim to smell Heaven, you better have the Bible backing you up every step of they way. You better hold yourself to a higher standard. And you better accept correction, even if it comes from a journalist, (Grady is part of the Body of Christ) when you are caught in gross sin.

If you can show me where Bentley claims he has "healing powers" and doesn't mention Jesus for the healing's let me know.

I'm not defending Bentley, he obviously has some issues which is why these videos are being made. Continual bashing someone on a video which they are trying to get right sounds like a move out of Satan's rule book called "kick'em when they are down". We all need to love more, hate less.

Okay: Todd said "Jesus" told him to "get people to believe in the Angel"... that this was the importance of the entire revival.

There is no way to release "Todd back into ministry" without releasing oneself from the Bible that teaches that every preacher or elder "Must be of one wife and his household in good order."

Todd does not have a Christian foundation in the Word, he is a captive of the false teachings of Bob Jones/Rick Joyner/Paul Cain...

they love talking about the Pharisees.

But they themselves are the Sadducees. They "know not the Scriptures and believe not in the true power of God"...

Funny, how they want to make Todd's critics under the religious spirit, when they themselves have no discernment like the Sadducees...

Dear Blazing H:

Discernment is always needed to understand who our "brothers in Christ" actually are. We are to love one another, but we are not to even "eat a meal with another brother who is in adultery or open sin"... according to the Bible. We need discernment to 'test the spirits" in order to see where someone is coming from. The way you do this is to test the teachings of what a demon or angel preaches, to see if they deny the Father and the Son.

Todd failed this test at Lakeland.

@steve4000 - God allows divorces, there's no scriptural evidence to suggest that healing needs to involve re-marriage to your original wife. I know it's debatable, but could 'healing' mean letting go of a decision you should have never made (marrying your first wife?) - if that can be forgiven and you can die to it, you are born again into the same right you once had to take a wife and remarry. Debatably.

I was refering to the previous video where Rick says publicly that he wants Todd back in ministry and it will be soon. Now that people are reacting to his comments RICK is trying to cover his arse. I have read my Bible. Paul openly rebuked the man having sex with his mother, Jesus openly rebuked Pharisees. Jesus says judge one another and there are several places where the NT talks about knowing people by their fruit. Try reading the Bible yourself sometime. It might be a real eye opener

How do you know Todd is a "brother?" What real evidence is there that he is truly born again?

@quemacha How much evidence is sufficient to the point that you cannot deny someone is a Christian? Deception can be so powerful that someone can look saved when they're not and vice versa. In the end only God can judge and, if you claim to know, you claim to know the judgements of the Lord Himself (I believe this is possible, but it takes an incredibly responsible person for God to trust them with those judgements).

@PilliDSL Let me put it this way; if Todd left his wife to enter into a homosexual "marriage," the Charismatics would judge that as gross immorality (or let's hope they would!). The issue is not knowing his soul, but knowing whether or not he meets biblical qualifications of leadership.

@quemacha Sorry - I was responding to your comment about whether he is saved, which IS an issue of knowing his soul and judging over it. On the subject of whether he can lead, it is unfortunately an issue of debate actually knowing what the true 'biblical' qualifications are in the first place. It's clear to you that he shouldn't lead according to what you read in The Book - that's fair by your conscience (whilst I'm undecided).

So Joyner "really do[es] appreciate all the input and different perspectives" (2:25 mark)? Then why did he blast Lee Grady? If Grady is an "illegitimate authority," then who are we in Joyner's eyes? I don't believe for a second that he appreciates views that are alternative to his own.
