A short response to the AVGN's Ghostbusters (NES) review

The new game rocked! it's the best one since the Genesis GB game and the Arcade Real GB game. The NES games were horrible!

Very good point. If anyone can post a video where they beat this piece of shit level without a Game Genie and a turbo controller/cheat, then I will give you a shoutout in one of my videos.

Why? It's not hard. There's ways to get healed in there, ya know.

How can you say it's not hard? You have to press A repeatedly just to move! By the time you get to the top, assuming the ghosts don't get you, your thumb will be bloody. Why couldn't they just give you a workable proton pack and let you move left and right normally? Clearly the game designers at Activision were sadists.

Turbo controller + Opening doors heal you sometimes.

I did do it without using a turbo controller once. My thumb was not feeling well afterward, though.

The staircase scene in the MOVIE was funny, but the staircase level in the GAME was boring as hell.

Would be challengeing enough if you had to keep tapping the A or B buttion to walk up the stairs.

That IS what you do on the stage. You have to keep tapping the A button to walk.

If you have a turbo controller, you're in luck.

Well you have to find a way to avoid the ghost.

If you have a Game Gene your good if not well.. your SOL.

Would be easer if it was just tapping a Button but you have to do that and avoid the stupid ghost.

True. There is a way to get healed. Press the B to open a door, and if you're lucky, you'll hear a sound effect. If you do, you're healed.
