  • i love the new ship! it broke my heart when the worrier was sank in new Zealand, thankyou Greenpeace for restoring my faith xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • anyone else get choked up seeing the dolphins?

  • Greenpeace loads of talk needs to be more action. Would be good to see them go back to the southern ocean. Help Sea shepherd this year. Work together learn, adapt, play to your strengths. Action going back to you roots

  • What happend 1:25??

  • I'm more anti-sweatshop and human right activist than Greenpeace, but I've been always thinking, why anti-Nike organisations like TeamSweat cannot organize their actions like Greenpeace. If TeamSweat would work like Greenpeace, Nike would close it sweatshops in few years.

  • I love this video, i watched it three times in 10 minutes. i'm going to join greenpeace, too. that's my biggest wish since i've heard the first time from greenpeace! (i think i was 3 or 4 years old)

  • Greenpiss you have killed millions around the world principally in Africa

  • I think that every member of Greenpeace dropped some tears while watching this video (as I did) ;)

  • New ship looks alot smaller than the old one.

  • you guys need an ady gil or gojira

  • With your help we can stop greenpeace funding and keep criminals at shore. Even though you might think that this is good for the enviroment. But does those people have the right to risk other peoples lifes for ''the cause''.

  • @hamarsdober the only lifes that they are risking are their owns

  • @Oblfreak Yeah, right... Tell me that again. Because last time I so a real live ecohippi, the crazy asshole chained himself to a valve on a gasline. And some little small one but one of the methane ''transportline'' I don't know the real name in english. But I do know that it could have gone wrong in many ways. How is that not risking others lifes. And acording to me. Causing damage to another vessel at sea, and ramming into another vessel on purpose at sea is risking others lifes then theyr own

  • @hamarsdober

with your help we can help greenpeace saving the environment and fund a lot of new inspiring actions! there'll be always people, who don't like greenpeace, people who always see the bad and who are blind for all the good and important actions from greenpeace, but there are much more people who help and support greenpeace in the fight for a better world. that's important, that's what counts! That's so today and with your help we can made it possible, that it's still so in 50years

  • What is Greenpeace going to do with the Rainbow Warrior II when the new Rainbow Warrior III joins the fleet? I have an Idea; re-name the Rainbow Warrior II to Fernando Pereira (after the Greenpeace photographer killed in the sinking of the first Rainbow Warrior), refurbish it, give it new new engines, new radar/electronics, a new paint job and keep it in the Greenpeace fleet based in NZ doing year round campaigns in the Pacific.

  • 私は、GreenPeaceを応援します。サポーターになって良かったです。

  • GreenPeaceの船の中で 虹の戦士が一番大好きな船です。カッコイイですね(⌒-⌒)ニコニコ...

  • Green Peace is what the world needs. God love them.

  • @Siobhan1234 there is no god douchebag

  • greenpeace': quit coal... but they burn 10000tons of fuel to tell them that.. dumbass hippies

  • @weskeeey Then how is going to travel, wow.

  • I think the reason why Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace isn't working toghter is that they have a different view on what to do. Greenpeace protest and take action without any kind of violent. Sea Shepherd however take action aswell. Just one that is more violent. I think that's the reason at the end of the day they share the same goal. So why not just work toghter. Two ships will ALWAYS be better than one ship! Greenpeace + Sea Shepherd trying to stop illegal fish will give good medie attention!

  • what a Warrior

  • @UnderMan2020 I think you'll see that I am in fact an active area member for both organisations in my region, and therefore would suggest that I also subscribe to the ideals that both groups are proponents for. I was merely pointing out that even though the groups have their disagreements, there is in fact room for the good that both groups do.

  • waste of money. give the money you could use to build this to Sea Shepherd they will do the real work

  • I am a passive member of gp so far, by admiring & signing online petitions ! Would like to know how to be an active member. This clip is stunning & inspiring ! ATB.

  • we are starting off right now a campaign to protect fish and sealife... its based on the stop of eating fish. you -the customer- play the most important role in all that. you decide on how much fish you eat or products based on fish you buy... join us... People for CHANGE (org)

  • which army attacked that ship , shown in the clip?

  • @Triptunee I think it was the French.

  • @Triptunee Fisher men.

  • true words robm425. truth is the handful of pepole trash talking sea shepherd are ignorant and have no awareness about the whaling situation and its significance, theyre safe at home in front of their computer without a worry.

  • Shit

  • i like it when you guys save an island :)

  • Not true about government money. "To maintain its independence, Greenpeace does not accept donations from governments or corporations but relies on contributions from individual supporters and foundation grants." Think about it - if they took cash from, say, the Australian govt, then wanted to protest about its energy policy's reliance on coal (as they have been doing), they would not have a leg to stand on.

  • Why is it strange? They have a lot of money available to them through the periodic donations from thousands of people worldwide.. I think the Esperanza cost even more at the end of the day..

  • Do NOT help greenpeace!!! All they do is sit and watch people violate international conversation laws. Support Seas Shepherd Conservation Society because they do more then just sit down and watch whales get slaughtered, They inforce the international ban on commerical whaling. Something GP will never do.

Support those that act (Sea Shepherd), NOT those that just watch (Greenpeace)!!!

  • that's an amazing video...does anyone know the song??

  • FANTASTIC!! love you, Greenpeace!!

I sent you my ''Tribute to tribute to Fernando Pereira, victim of the Rainbow Warrior bombing - and for Marelle his daughter'' videoresponse.. I placed it in past as response to TVNewZealand's fantastic video, my TIP to watch!!

'Sunday: Bombing of the Rainbow Warrior - part one'' ( youtube . com / watch?v=90TfobYv4-U )

  • OK, off I go to start fundraising for you so that the ship can start sailing asap.. and then I will send a job application to get on board and sail with you!!! ciao, Helena

  • A beautiful vesel with a selfless crew and a powerful mission, God bless you guys and your great ship :-)

  • ooooo can i volunteer to work on this ship?

  • I'm a proud member of both Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd. Its sad there is still arguing between the groups who effectively fight for the same cause. There is room in the oceans for both groups and they both play separate parts in the same fight. PS.. Sea Shepherd are not just anti-whaling but they are also against the Canadian seal hunt and have a fast patrol vessel on constant watch for illegal fisherman in the Gallipigos islands.

  • @Keabeer18 I agree with you. I don't like to see one against the other, they MUST be together because the horizon is the same. I'm from Greenpeace.

  • @Keabeer18 It still amaze me how pepole can get so bored

  • @TheDillchipset

bored?! don't you think, we have to fight for our world? greenpeace saves our environment, i don't think that's bored!

  • fights between sea sheppard and green peace lead nowhere! don´t critic gp, you are in the same ship!

  • i wil help!!

  • Sea shepherd does everything GP dont have the balls to do!

Support SSCS they make things happen!

  • Sea Sheppard are specifically against Whaling, but GP have have been at the forefront of not just anti-whaling, but ALL major environmental activity like making the seas nuclear free, trying to end illegal deforestation, combating climate change. The list goes on and on.

  • Actually you are quite mis informed they protect all creatures that have to do with the sea. Intervening in seal hunts, stopping illegal fishermen and long line fishermen. Do some actual research.

  • I remember 1985 and truly evil French Commandos. Ranbow Warrior III--Peacemakers, environmental protectors, builders of the future live on and become legend.

  • Hello, Is there any where that shows detailed info on the new Rainbow Warrior?

  • how to help?

  • @Parthonoum

    Donate :D

  • Un video precioso, mejor que el mio, pero vosotros teneis mas recursos para poder captar esas imágenes.

    Saludos desde Bilbao

  • Greenpeace is not Sea Shepherd!

Greenpeace is campaigning around the world using other tactics.

If you like Sea Shepherd, support them but Greenpeace is in the other side of the enviormental activism.

Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd does not need the same organization.

    I support Greenpeace!

  • what does sea shepherd do?

  • Where Greenpeace will peacefully protest things. Sea Shepherd takes actions against the violators and physically intervene's. One example would be the whaling situation, Japan whaled infront of Greenpeace for years, but whenever Sea Shepherd showed up on seen the japanese began to run cause they knew the SS means business. They aren't there to take photo's, they are there to stop whaling.

  • Peaceful protest - including physical intervention - does not mean standing back from getting involved. However, Greenpeace don't take action which risks humans' or other species' lives, like ramming ships as Sea Shepherd are prepared to do.

  • So how many humans or other species have Sea Shepherd been responsible for killing? NONE!!!!! Sea Shepherd has never killed any body. Sorry Whalers laugh at Greenpeace and hunt right in front of them, Whalers run away from Sea Shepherd?

  • @entelechyuk . But surprising it is Greenpeace who have actually had people injured and even killed in its history not Sea Shepherd. Even tho Sea Shepherd seems more aggressive. And as for the "Whale Wagon" in which Greenpeace members actually sit down and eat whale meat on camera. Not something i would expect from a group trying to save whales. And how many whales have Greenpeace saved in the last 3 years?? None but they continue to take 40million a year from the public for saving whales. Shame

  • how to help

  • cyber activism

    donation

    contact local GP team

    and most important:

    share and educate others!

  • oh con guys! no guns and no dying! that's not the way of Greenpeace. i don't say that Sea Shepherd's doing a bad job in fact even myself i think there's a need nowadays for some drastic actions against those money making bastards..

but let's keep the peace in Greenpeace! they're doing a job just as worthy and needful.

  • i really what to go on one of the ships!!!>>

  • yes.. ONLY inspiring action...Like pictures and stuff???

we need REAL action! Sea Shepherd (Paul Watson) is willing to die for the whales!!!!! - Now THATS the kind of action we need!!!
