Anyone with an appreciation of engine noise knows it's a six cylinder engine, so it's not a stock E30 M3. What is it really? What engine is it running?

@thorndonpark for sure bmw inline 6, either an e30 325i base engine, or one of the e36 m3 engines (e30 325i engine would be heavily modified if it is)

ah okthanks did'nt know that, i've driven a ferarri once with a 1st gear down left.

I have a E30 myself (not an m3) so I assumed that the m3 was about the same as mine

no this is the transmission that was on the original bmw e30 333i the 1st gear is down there instead of the 2nd and the 2nd is instead of the 3rd and so on!
