  • what ever happened to this guy

  • Just FYI, this is a 16mm home movie edition of a theatrical Mickey Mouse cartoon (with a release year of 1934), the original title of which is, "Camping Out". The cartoon was released on DVD as part of the Disney Treasures Series: "Mickey Mouse in Black and White: Volume 1"

  • @iamSketch by illegal do you mean reselling

It. if it's not original then it's not illegal I sell

Reissues of film all the time(some independent originals too)

  • Iam

  • Well the most RARE Mickey Mouse Cartoon is something I don't know, but it was called by most people "Suicide Mouse", also known as "suicidemouse.avi" . It had Mickey walking along a street depressed with some sad music playing(It was really a bunch of piano sounds.) and according to Wikipedia, a husky appeared with large human teeth and a hand in the background cause viewers to become suicidal.

  • @Nodog438 wow that's weird,a subliminal hand...

  • why is it rare ????

  • That Is The Stupidest Thing I Have Ever Seen.

  • @bucher1234567890 your Just another idiot who doesn't know the fascination behind this.

  • Gee. When I compare the nowadays Mickey to the old one the new one seems like commercialism and crap. I just hate the Mickey's Clubhouse. It's total bullshit. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @HyperGolem I know, that show just ruined his audience. Some people now even think he is just for little kids because of it

  • If this is from the 30s it's probably one of those Castle Films re-issues of early Mickey Mouse sound cartoons on silent 16 mm film--remember all Mickey films from the start were originally shot on standard 35 mm film stock, and all but the first two (Plane Crazy and Galloping Gaucho, from the summer of 1928) were originally shot as sound films...those two early ones had sound tracks added and were re-released as sound films immediately after Steamboat Willie pioneered the sound cartoon.

  • Dude, why would you sell this?! you were holding a DISNEY CARTOON in your hands!

  • Walt Disney would been decimated how our Disney today change.

  • This is a lie. It can't have a copyright of 1933. The first mickey mouse cartoons were in the 20's. 1933 is when Snow White was released. Plus, look at the animation style and compare it to steam boat willie, which was the first sound cartoon after the previous silent ones. The animation is progressed in this short--newer--than the version in Steamboat willie. Steamboat Willie is more simple. Plus, what you're doing is illegal. I'm reporting this.

  • @iamSketch 1933 is when the cartoon is made

  • @brb1006 1928

  • @dimiteeur this cartoon was made in the 30's since that the year make started talking

  • @iamSketch You make me feel like a dumbass!Thats a good thing! (;

  • Far as I know Mickey Mouse NEVER ONCE appeared in a silent cartoon. In fact, if I recall correctly, his first appearance in Steamboat WIllie was one of, if not the, first cartoons to feature sound.

  • @switchbuckle Actually, that's not true. Steamboat willie is the first cartoon ever with sound, true enough, however it is little known that mickey mouse actually starred in two other shorts before that. Steamboat Willie is the third mickey mouse cartoon. However, they were not very successful because they looked like every other cartoon at the time, amusing but not unique. The reason mickey mouse became so popular was because of the introduction of syn. sound that amazed viewers.

  • i should go to pawn stars if i buy this...

  • This is terrible. The cartoon business will never be a hit.

  • This looks like a post-Steam Boat Willy version of Mickey...

  • @SergeantLuke seriously or are you just joking?

  • Its called "Keep 'Em Flying".

  • i thought minnie had a bow not a flower

  • @0mikey91, Minnie originally had a Flower in her hair. Disney changed it later.

  • @legodude700videos theres a lot of thing he changed rite

  • nice fake retard

  • Because certain "home movie" distributors (including "Hollywood Film Exchange"), in the '30s and '40s, were licensed the rights to sell [or rent] 16mm silent AND sound versions of older Disney cartoons to those who had 16mm silent/sound projectors, 'Luke'. This is an example of one of those "silent" releases (sometimes featuring subtitles or intertitles)- often, the cartoon was given a new title for "home movie release": "Keep 'Em Flying" was a slightly edited version of "Camping Out" (1934).

  • Why is this silent? Was the sound lost or something?

  • hi there...

did you sell the film ???

I have a 16mm film with the cartoons:

    The Jolly Farmer

    The Nightmare

    Phantom Mouse

  • I'll give ya a nickle.

  • An original 16mm of Mickey? I think you better give this to the Disney Archives...

  • I like old cartoons. haha. =D

  • Why should a 1933 cartoon be silent? I'd be wary of purchasing this without verifying the authenticity of it.

  • is there any way to take a video from youtube, and put it on a project like powerpoint?

  • dwonload real player.

with that u get a utube application button which is called "download" its comes on the top of the screen that displayes the video.

once uve downloaded it u can do watever u want.

  • lol

16 millimeters is the width of the film.

Usual standart for professional movies is 35mm.

  • you ripped this from a cartoon in the series! >:-(

  • what dose 16mm mean?

  • Goth!

  • Wow :)

  • soo true...i was gonna post sumtin like that up 2!!! lizzie was cool but mickey mouse and that rocked

  • Yes some of us agree with you, but their are children on here, and you shouldn't say anything related to Disney and curse while saying it! If someone were to do a search for Disney, they would get this.

  • It is strange to watch this without sound or music.

    But thanks for posting :)

  • youd think it would be worth much more!

  • hi!

  • Old Mickey Mouse is the best!

  • I have this one on a 50 foot 8mm reel my dad bought back in the 40's. The short version of this cartoon is called "Keep 'em Flying." The full version has been released on DVD and it's called "Camping Out."

  • I like all the old disney classics but i need to see more than 8 seconds worth of footage to say i liked that

  • It is just enough to sell on eBay ;)

  • yeah your right there. How much do you think it will sell for

  • It SOLD for $10

  • @pweb Unbelievable

  • I thought some person who works for Disney would bid on it

  • cool. I guess it would be worth that though cause its so old. Was it origanaly part of some old cartoon.

  • Hey Darrin, I owned the film print (among hundreds of others) and sold it through PWEB. It sold for so little because it's a silent 3 minute version of a longer sound cartoon. Just getting rid of something I didn;t need.

  • Oh. K k. Just wondering.
