@mrmhayes although they did put the v6 .2.8 in the 960 for 6 months only and was only in japan and austrailia! these cars are extreemly rare! the v6 was mate by peugot renault and volvo and was named the prv but it was a shit engine that ate head gaskits for breakfast lunch and dinner!
940 came with 2.0T in finland, italy and some other countrys in Sweden the 2.0 Turbo called "Polar" And the 3.0 is not a V6!! It´s a Straight lined 6 (B6340) 204hp/267nm) That engine was an avalible in the 940, only in 960/S90/V90. The 2.0 Turbo Version of 940 Has 155Hp/

the 2 liter turbo is a 16v. but id rather have the B234 and put a turbo on it afterwards.

Nope. Definitely a 2.0 Turbo, it was on the logbook :)
You had both 2.0 and 2.3 naturally aspirated and turbocharged ones, then the V6 one. Well, and the tractor engines.

No the smallest engine in the 940 is 2.0 but only in a fue countrys like finland and italy:-). The 3.0 is sitting in the 960.
