Everest Software was the company I worked for right out of School. I was an engineer with the team. Things were a mess when I came on board in 2008. I'm so sorry for the experience you had. If there is anything I can do you guys, I'd be happy too... Needless to say, I came into the offices one morning after a brief vacation only to find the office was empty. Everyone had been fired and it took me months to get my final paycheck. "Everest, terrible and corrupt leadership".
Our company has been running on Everest software since 2006. immediately we ran into problems and they never ended. We have literally rebuilt the web application to get it to perform in a somewhat acceptable manner. I'm giving up on Everest. I would not recommend this software and I doubt they'll be around long. BAD PRODUCT - DON'T BUY
I think the best place to buy software is at software select. i bought software from them at less then retail prices. they have everything in terms of software. w ww.softwareselect. org
For a company to stop business and not just choose another software
and actually take the time make a video, edit it, and put it on the web MUST mean that they are speaking the truth... This is not some crack-pot woman, she is speaking from the heart.
I'm so sorry to hear your story Roberta, this is terrible. We also use Everest where I work and have been running into problems with customization. We are running on 5.0.2.6, which version did you buy originally? We are definitely not upgrading to .net because we've heard bad things about, your video confirms this. Thank you for posting this, it's very good of you. I hope things are improving!
May i know what software did finally solve your problem....im also looking for ERP software...it seems that Everest is a no no for us base on your video.
I remember the day Roberta opened SportVision Bend. I remain a consistient customer even when relocated to Europe. Their business ethic is superb. The trauma to their business is real. They are trying to help others from traveling the same path. Spread the word it's time to bring down business bad guys like Everest Software...
So sorry to hear of your problems with this company. My own company was de-frauded by Everest in 2004-2005. I am absolutely amazed that this company continues to destroy small businesses with their predatory practices and empty promises. Unfortunately, you are not alone as their are numerous companies who have documented the same issues with Everest.
I have known Todd and Roberta of SVB for many yearsand they are very sharp and personable business people. For a professional business like Everest to be out of integrity like this is unacceptable in today's business world. They should be held accountable for the promises they made, the monies they collected, and the failure to deliver - shame on you Everest!
Sports Vision Bend i s much better off with out these guys. Unbelievable that a business like Everest is still up and running. I will pass this on to my business partners. Thanks!
It's unfortunate to witness the suffering Sports VIsion experienced due to this software company. Everest should reevaluate its work ethic and consider whether its profit was worth the issues Sports Vision was faced with.
Thanks for informing me what to avoid. i'm sorry about you financial loss.
but what software can you recommend as a good alternative that has functionality and works?
