BTw, i think thats my favorite review of yours. Im just a tad too young for colecovision. First console was the nes. I have pretty much every console between nes and xbox 360. All im am lacking is neo geo, 3do, jaguar, Fm town, pc-fx and i think i have everything else. I did not care for anything pre-nes. i wonder why we're not seeing modern trackball controllers.

I've played back in the day Missile Command on the arcades with the trackball and the control was miles better and more responsive than any home version.

In fact,it feels like the ball of the older-non optical- mouse but in reverse.

@johnwx777 probably because game companies are too obsessed with buffing the output of the hardware it already has, also, the graphical differences would probably freeze if you tried to use a rollerball on newer games. imean, look how big this controller is, its pretty memory consuming on the carts it uses.

Great thing abotu ColecoVision is that they saved so much money by licensing the lesser known obscure arcade games that are clones of more popular titles, like Slither and Cosmic Avenger. Such a great system.

Although that would be a really good idea, I don't think that the kids of today could handle the pure awesomeness that is known as the Roller Controller. It would probably blow their mids at how precise a control that thing will give you. It would make playing a FPS really fun though.

A trackball is a completely diffent feel then a mouse and keyboard. Try playing centipede with a mouse and then play it with a trackball and you will see.

This game does actually look pretty sweet, I still haven't played a Colecovision. Also, I think the only track ball games I've played were bowling games, and I've always played Missile Command on PCs, until I burned the Playstation Missile Command, reviewed here on CGR actually.
