Echo was one of those bands who we loved to hate. We would listen in private and think up some of the best stuff of our life. I wrote the outline to a screenplay to this song while sitting a graveyard in New Orleans back in the 80s. The screenplay made it to the second round finals 4 years ago. Not many people get the script nor do they get this band. Very underrated band indeed.

@beakman1966 i've been recommending those three albums for ages...very underrated....esp the last one - mainstream. the bunnymen were ok in their day but were blown out of the water by the wit and originality of the smiths...by comparison 'echo' sounded like a weak pop version of joy div...the smiths defined english lyrical rock music in the early 80s...lloyd and the bunnymen etc were but stewards of their excellence....to coin a phrase.
