  • Yes, 15mph and the distance from Greenbank to Mt Cube, just around 4.5 miles...15mph = 4 minutes per mile, or 18 minute trip to the grove, one way.

You're lucky if they're doing 5mph in that clip.

  • It didn't bother me..ha

  • Looking like they in Wilmington, Delaware!

  • Not far from there..

  • Ohh!

  • Yeah..lol

  • ^^ lol

  • ha..

  • I still don't get it....they are running on some of their best trackage at 5 miles an hour....pre floods, and after this section was rebuilt from the Road to the Housing development, they'd open it up at Brandywine Springs and roll through this area all the way to Wooddale doing 20....what gives people?

They're either too nerodic or paranoid.

  • Probably just overly cautious..

  • Overly cautious of what....a squirrle might run in front of the train?

It's sad really...on a hot day, slow speeds can turn off customers really quick for a return visit.

I can understand if there is a valid reason, like work going on or some sort of track problem, but every video out here of the W&W in recent times is snails pace operations.

The W&W has always been overly cautious about things, but I think they're going a wee bit overboard.

  • Maybe..

  • track speed is 15 mph

  • Ok..

  • Great video! 5*! That whistle sounds beautiful

  • Thanks..!!
