Thanks for putting up all the "no reservation" episodes. I don't have travel channel. I would be less happy of a person if not for you. and i agree with taila176.... you are King of Youtube!! lol
Hello, can someone tell me the name of the song right when they cut to the yakamein lady? I've always heard the song, just never could find out by who. It starts at 4:02 and goes to 4:35. Thank you if you know the song, I know its very common.
I...I love you! and thank you if I could kiss you through the computer I would. I fing love this show and Tony. But my life sucks and I lost my DVR had to go back to basic cable and then the travel channel left basic cable so I've missed seasons worth of the best show ever and it sucks, and my computer sucks so watching online wasn't happening until now, thanks to you so glad I found this, you rock.
Kumquatsta, are there any plans to show The Layover on your channel in the near future? REALLY looking forward to that. I have to catch NR on your channel cause i miss it due to being a chef myself lol. Would adore you if you do upload that show. either way, cheers mate and thank you for the work.
I'm glad this showed the distinction between New Orleans and Cajun country. I'm a Cajun and have nothing against New Orleans, it's a great city, but it's not really part of Cajun country. It also showed that we're not all living in one huge swamp here, with alligators everywhere. I love the swamps and watching alligators out there, but that's two big stereotypes avoided. And "breaking all the rules...doing everything gloriously wrong", that's AWESOME.
For all his punk rock rebel undertones, this episode makes it evident that Bourdain cares about America and it's culture. Anthony Bourdain is a patriot and we need more intentional people like him around.
Seems fitting that Mr. Tony would finish his summer season with this episode in and around Nalins. And the (some say) delay for it to appear on kumquatsta's channel was only as an appetizer is to a great entree to come in due time.
They need to show this episode to the History Channel and have them stop stereotyping all the people on the bayou as hillbilly redneck white trash.

@tsg2167 I'm pretty sure that is a cover of "St. James Infirmary". As who does it...let me tell you a joke.
How many blues musicians does it take to play "St. James Infirmary"?
Every. Single. Last. One. Of them.
