Can someone answer this question? I have a "cg" styled controller. The one he is using is a "matrix" style. I was stupid and drilled the hole and applied the push button to my controller and realized that the mod wouldnt work with a "cg" controller. if i continue to solder and finish the process will the push button act as a second trigger? so i can fire twice as fast with both triggers? If anyone could help me Id really appreciate it! Thanks!

No , seriously. Scotch tape is not a good insulator. You need to solder the wires to the damn prongs on the push button. You HAVE to solder it. IT WILL touch the other prong,if you put scotch tape, it will melt the damn tape sooner or later. Youre basically teaching these people how to ruin their damn controller with primitive techniques that will surely break the controller.

All I can say is the socket for D21 is correct, it's just a nightmare to get it to stay. You can't solder because it doesn't stick to the motherboard, you can't hotglue it because the wire isn't really even in the socket...I don't think you can puncture a hole in it...
