  • thats a lot of sugar

  • what does candy corn taste like

  • @sweetsugarystar7 Chewy and sweet

  • what can i recipe use for cake?

  • @jogaile705 Any recipe would be fine, or use a cake mix or store bought cake

  • you are very talented :)

  • Amazing! On Vanlentine's Day my family LOVED them! Your creations are the BEST!

  • What does it taste like? Does it have any flavor or is it just sugar?

  • @MissNoraF The candy coating? The cake pop? Candy coating is like white chocolate, cake pop like cake and frosting

  • just wondering, when you are finished making all these delicious desserts what do you do with them afterwards? like do you eat them, give them to your children, or sell them at your store you might possibly have?

  • @WeStayTrueLikeWoahx Given away mostly and some eaten at home (no store)

  • I now feel like a foreveralone.

  • thumbs up if you subscribed! I know i did!

  • Oh my goodness! These are fabulous. Your idea of freezing them before dipping saved me for disaster! I made these for my friends for Valentine's Day and they loved them. Love your videos.

  • I just made the Hidden heart cupcakes for my sons preschool class. Going to use the left overs to make Bowling Pins for my sons cake on the 25th!

  • why dont you make a cookie shaped heart with heart eyes and and a smile

  • Love this! What kind of frosting to you place into the cake mix @yoyomax12 ? Whipped or anything special like that? Also what kind of cake mix is that? Red velvet or white with red food coloring? Love the color! These are so cute.

  • @Jazzynail The frosting is butter cream. The cake is leftover cake from my "hidden hearts cupcakes" video

  • yoyomax12

For some reason when I added in my butter cream frosting it made it fairly oily and it was hard to mold and when i let it set it was still hard to put into the melted chocolate. Please help me as I will be making this tomorrow again so that it will be ready for valentines day. Thank you.

  • @bamburn04 Was the cake completely cool? I would suggest using commercial frosting (if you can or want to) for these. Were they falling off the sticks?

  • @yoyomax12

Hmmm. It wall cooled on a rack for about an hour. I live in the Philippines so commercial frosting is out of my budget and I know how to make butter cream frosting (a pretty dry one cause I was trying to cancel out the oily texture of the cake which it ended up not working). They weren't quiet clay like in texture. I tried to make it as clay like as possible but once I dipped it in melted chocolate pieces of the cake would fall off. Any idea on how to maybe fix it? :3

  • @bamburn04 The cake I used is pretty fine textured and lightly moist (from a cake mix) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it,.

Also I would watch the size of the cake pop, very large ones fall off easier, Are you using the paper stick kind of stick to put them on? Smooth plastic may make them easier to fall off.

  • @yoyomax12

Well I made a second batch earlier since my first was a test run. I'll let it rest in the ref. for maybe a day to make it a little less moist. I put a little less oil in this one so I hope it works out. Yup, I'm using the paper type lollipop stick. It's just the cake for some reason. Thank you for answering my questions :D

Also I love your vids and voted for you to get featured on youtube from the video you posted a few days ago. :)

  • @yoyomax12

Just updating. My second batch came out great. They aren't that pretty because I ran out of chocolate about 3/4ths but it worked out. Thanks a ton for your help and keeping doing what you do. :D

  • Do you freeze the cake pop after dipping it in the melted candy mix or do you just leave it out?

  • @christinac1990 Just leave them out and they will harden, or put them in the refrigerator to make the process faster

  • @yoyomax12 Thank you (:

  • Hi! Although I like this Valentine video, you have so many wonderful videos. I wish that the "On the Rise" competition to show voters a little bit of everything you have done on youtube. The duck cupcakes video was one of my favorites. I actually made those. Your tips helped. I also like the "Dressed Up" strawberries. You make it look like an easier process than I've seen in done before. Either way, best wishes and I hope you win.

  • @Alicia4Peace They asked me to pick one video for them to showcase and that was really tough to choose. I ended up picking my most recent one and figured that it would be near Valentines day. Honestly, I'm surprised I did as well as I did so far. It was nice to get the extra views and I think a few more subs than normal.

  • @yoyomax12 hope you win :)

  • Random fact white chocolate is not in fact chocolate its made out of coco butter instead of coco solids XD

  • Were do you find candy melting wafers

  • question: how do you store the leftover melted candy melts when you do have leftovers?

  • @kdsugarsquared Store it in your stomach.

  • These will be a huge hit with my Girl Scouts :)

  • can you tell me what kind of icing you use to write on the cake pop that won't smear when you put it in the bag? also can you do a tutorial on how to use the silicone mold and how to get the cake pop out of it? please and thank you

  • @mzcuti3p1e I used butter cream frosting that dries pretty well. I had to be careful putting them into the bags, rough handling would probably knock the icing off. Candy melts would probably be better.

  • I will try to just cut pieces out of already baked bisquit with these little metal things u use at easter and christmas and top these with white chocolate.

  • what do you do with the left over candy melts? please reply asap!

  • @funkygal321 Maybe you could make a topping for a cake out of it? Or you can just color some white chocolate/water-powdersugar-mix and use that instead, so you can just produce the amount that u need and have no leftovers.

  • @funkygal321 I try not to have any, however if I do I will store in the fridge and re-melt if I am planning on using them again. If not, I toss it.

  • @fidelferrer she has a pig cupcake u probably just can adjust it a little

  • I'm sorry I accidentally made a request for this about an hour ago without searching for a video first sorry

  • Is it okay if I just kidnap you and take you to my place? You are just amazing! I can't wait to make some of these soon! Thanks so much xo

  • can you make a mrs.piggy cupcake

  • @shadysjlx I can't remember what number it was, just look for one with a hole that is about the size of a pencil lead

  • @shadysjlx @yoyomax12 its a number 2 which ppl use for writing :)

  • you should make a palm tree cupcake

  • can you please give me a recipe for homemade frosting for this cake pop? thank you :)

  • @thecaropee Do you have a Bulk Barn? If not try Michaels craft store for sticks and candy melts

  • @yoyomax12 no i don't have a Bulk Barn or michaels :( i live in Montreal. Does it have to be a special crafts store?

  • that's old cake...,,

  • @starofpink1 It was in the freezer during the interim.

  • Could you use melted white chocolate with food colouring instead of candy melting wafers?

  • can you show us how to cover an entire cupcake with fondant like the ones in card shops?

  • @Antoinette0317 I have never used fondant and probably never will. I don't like the taste at all

  • @yoyomax12 Actually, Satin Ice fondant is supposed to taste great. You should give it a try.

  • @yoyomax12

    :(

  • @pianolin7 most people do use chocolate if they don't have candy melts :)

  • i have a cake pop maker....

  • Fantastic!

  • A littel corn syrup will add a "shine" to your frosting if you like that look over matte.

  • instea of the candy melts what else could you use???

  • @mrscandycane201 white chocolate with gel food color.

  • @mrscandycane201 semi-sweet chocolate or white chocolate. It doesn't have to be candy melting wafers, but if it was Valentine's day candy pops, it would probably look best red.

  • thank you!

  • What can you use instead of candy melts?

  • Hi I left a channel comment but I don't know if it got through. I'm a little allergic to almond so I wonder if I can do the fortune cookies without the almond extract? Do I have to substitute it with another liquid? Thanks in advance! :)

  • Wasn't the picture for this video different yesterday? O_o

  • It looks like a professional did it ;D

  • YAY! My mom found Candy Melts! It's for my science project though so I can't eat it all :( I have a sweet tooth :D

  • How do these taste? Are they really sweet? Or are they more 'cakey'?

  • @pointeskatecybunny sweet and cakey, the sweetness level will depend on the amount and type of frosting you use

  • absolutely loooove this!!! You are so creative!!!!!
