@BarneyCX yah - if you've watched any of my shows from when my toons are around the L22 mark, you'll hear me complaining about the exact same thing. i love the game, but they need to sort out the questlines that get handed out at this level :S

@sambonz well I hoped u realized it was very new and stuff it has changed alot like look into it its updates there are pretty nice now but ya every game sucks in the beginning its not until its updates that everything starts to matter more like in content and stuff maybe and that game gets better on lvl 30 depending on ur class.

@drakozero8 oh for sure. it was very early days and as you say, things generally improve over time. I did go back to take a look about 6 months ago I but found it still too grindy for my liking =)

It's called bottling when braniac traps a building. Great video realy enjoyed it. Also it's the same on ps3, it takes ages to get in the noob alerts, once you hit level 30 groups for hard alerts are a lot more organised so to get in them you will need to shout in the watchtower for a team. Lots of people do this hence why there's no one outside in metropolis or gotham.

I have to admit, even though it took sony ages to make fight 4 the light dlc, 4 DCUO. However looking at your playthroughs sambonz with jordan, my god u make it sound worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D U R AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great videos Sambonz, took me a few days to go through them all. And you've got my interest for it now that I've gotten bored of CO, but not really high enough to buy it yet, so shouting out to anyone else to see if they still have a buddy key they can share. :P

Ohh, and why you got into combat when asking about the bottled building is most likely because you managed to make a weapon attack. Not sure if it's a bug or not when you're not hitting an enemy but it seems to be standard.

The problem for finding people out and about is they have nothing to do once they hit 30, and most people hit 30 in a couple of days. At that point, even at peak times, the vast majority of players are on level 30s in the Watchtower getting ready for alerts and raids. They just have absolutely no reason to be going out and about rather than grinding out for their tier PvE and PvP gear.

I have a feeling the reason your que takes a long time is due to your time zone. I have been queing for alerts and it takes about 5-10 minutes to form a group. Also when I am on there are a lot of players around and not just people playing the Light based powers but still the game needs more players.

@sambonz Still DCUO needs more players. From what I have seen from your Rift videos there are more people playing Rift when you log on. I guess Rift is more popular than DCUO, and SOE has screwed over a lot of people. But for me DCUO has become much better than before and I am enjoying myself, I just did one instance on my Staff/Mental character where you have to save Raven and that instance was so much fun.

I hope people will come back so that you can enjoy the game more.

About queueing for alerts, unless it's US peak hours, it's likely not going to happen. But you can easily pick up alerts by shouting in the Watchtower at almost any time of day. The reason is that people like to do alerts with a planned team (DPS, healer, controller, tank), and randomly queueing up is a good way to find yourself in a group of 4 Green Lanterns and no healers. I know you hate the place, but you're gonna have to suck it up and hang out in the Watchtower if you want to do alerts.
