BF2MC was the best because it was completely balanced. No custom weapons, no perks, no anything that gave a player an advantage over another. It all came down to skill and proficiency of your class, unlike all other BFs or COD which players rely on bs custom gear and perks. Snipers killed in one shot with bolt action(requiring better accuracy), spec ops were the only ones to carry c4 and a knife(more stealthy) etc. It gave more of an Army vs Army atmosphere rather than mercs in uniforms.

@Xadryn18 plus no revivals when someone is dead, to prevent squads from revolving around two medics who just revive everyone as they die. The music in BF2MC is far better and actually is one when you play adding to the atmosphere as it changes with the action.

@FAKIH67 That's my point, BF2MC didn't have unlockable or modded weapons. Sniper rifles in the other BF games took at least 2 shots unless you hit the head, plus most are semi-auto(an excuse for a coward who can't aim). You can revive in the other BF's which is b.s. because you just end up having a swarm of people crowding two medics so no one dies(usually they are surrounded by LMG spawners who can't aim so the compensate with more bullets.) BF2MC doesn't have any of that kind of b.s.

Well I personally didn't find it all that more of an addition to the game as a nuisance trying to get to work, being in Australia and having every server located in the US, it created some heavy ass lag sometimes, to the point where I would die if I was on a tall building, no snipers, no soldiers nothing like that, just glitched and I was forced outside the building and pretty much fell to my death before I realised what the hell happened.

Might have been different in the US though.
