Well let's see here. BYU just kept a team who played for the national title last year and averaged 54 points a game to only 13 points. And did so in Oklahoma's own backyard. TCU has to come to Provo (where BYU has not lost in three straight years) and BYU will being looking for major payback. Time to wake up pal.

I know the game was in Arlington. That's why I said it was in Oklahoma's backyard. Sooner fans outnumbered BYU fans 6-1. And don't give me that lame excuse about Bradford. He was hardly lighting things up in the first half. In fact, BYU was leading in total yards and Oklahoma had only scored because of some BYU mistakes. These big boy BCS teams are supposed to be soooo much better, they should have still pulled it off even without Bradford. And it's not sure they would with Bradford.

TCU by year's end was one of the best teams in the nation. I think it's quite possible, no scratch that, likely that had TCU and Oklahoma met in a rematch, TCU would have won. The Horned Frogs improved tremendously through the year, even playing down to the wire a Utah team that manhandled Alabama.

Regarding the attendance problem:

More people stay out in the the parking lot tailgating, rather than watching the games.

Even thought the d/fw area has millions of people, a lot of the people are aggie, longhorn, or tech alums which takes away a large amount of attendance

I grew up in Fort Worth and went to Texas Tech for medical school. I love the atmosphere at Tech games, how our stadium may not be the biggest but we make sure it's rockin alllll the time. As being a life long TCU fan i really wish TCU could motivate their students to feel bad if they are anywhere else than at the football stadium being loud and proud on a fall saturday. I still love TCU and really hope last season will give them some fan support. TCU has over 3million people within driving

The only thing that sucks about TCU is that the Fort Worth Community doesn't support it like Lubbock does Tech, Austin does Texas, Bryan does A&M.

The school is great and is rich in tradition. It would be more exciting if the Alums continued to support the school at the football games when they graduate.

Tech grads over the last 10 years have become about 40% of their Ticket Holders and make it a point to not schedule births or weddings during August-November.

This is what TCU should do.
