Ok, now I know what we're having for dinner one night very soon! LOL Although, I've never had much luck trying to roll them out like that, the dough is always either too sticky or the dumplings end up tough :-( So I have to do the *spoon drop* method but they still taste good! Thanks for sharing!

Oh, man! It does my heart good to see someone cook PROPER chicken n' dumplins!! Someone in my family got this recipe where you make the dumplings out of cut up tortillas, and thus died the awesome rolled out homemade dumplings in my house. I'm hongry now!
I have never had chicken and dumplings! I get disturbed when I see people cook with their rings on. The bacteria caught up under there being spread all over the food creeps me out. I'm so OCD I can't stand myself. My mom does that. I won't eat her cooking. But you know what? I would totally eat that. Ring bateria and all. It looks delish. Now. Do you cook the dumplings and then throw them in? Or do you throw them in and they cook in the boiling chicken juice? Oh, I need to stop.
wow, i might try that. i do mine soooo different. i mix my dough like i'm making biscuits and then drop a clump in the boiling broth. after a few minutes i flip it over. It's nice and fluffy in the middle and gooey on the outside. those look good though. i might try it like that.
Ohhhhh! I've always loved chicken and dumplins' and haven't had them for a while! Once I get through my turkey leftovers (I do a fab soup with the bones) I'll make some; your's looks AWESOME! I've fav'd and starred :)

yep, i add salt and pepper - I never knew there was any other way of making dumplings, mom always made it this way! lol lol I'll never be able to make them like mom - she ruled on chicken and dumplings :)
