but at the and of the movie his own charakter is like changed:

hes becoming a warrior, he fights with bow and arrows and brings the death to some of the greek soldiers

i like this charakter-change because later in the movie paris/orlando bloom is more like legolas

This is a great movie! but i hate how they had the trojan army fight the greek army in the first battle they had. All the trojans really did was hide behind there walls raining arrows on the greeks, then at night on chariots or horses thats when they would do a small attack on the greek camps. They are just glorifying the trojans

Eric Bana is the perfect Hector. Here's the thing, though... Hector may have known that the war would come, but it was Paris' twin sister, Kassandra, that foresaw the fall of Troy... I don't even think they put Kassandra in this movie, but then again, I haven't seen the whole film. It looks like it's from the perspective of heros and kings, though and not so much the women.

I love Orlando Bloom but his character in this movie is a wimp. He's way too emotional and runs away from fights it doesn't get to much more wimpier than that...good thing Brad Pitt and Eric Bana are there to make up for Paris..I still love the movie :D

Oh and Briseis and Achilles really weren't together in the book. He took Briseis as his, but Agamemnon took her away from Achilles, which made Achilles hate and refuse to fight for Agamemnon. Later on she is mentioned for a second and then never mentioned again in the book. Oh and Patroclus wasn't his cousin. He was his best friend, but some scholars say he was his lover

Yes they found the ruins of Troy. I am taking an ancient epic tales class at SFSU and my teacher was just telling us about that discovery. Troy was found many years ago by this one guy, but he wasn't 100% sure if what he found was Troy. He died and then some other archeologists uncovered more and found the walls of Troy.

it is real, archaeologists have found thousands of weapons and shields under ancient Troy. it wasn't just greek mythology. There was a documentary on the discovery channel about it.

The story is most likely 100% myth, but Schliemann did ultimately find the real Troy. Maybe they'll make a movie about that someday.
