This might sound strange... But I use to have this cat, we got her when I was born and she dies a couple months ago, she was fifteen just like me she slept in my bed every night she was like a sister with four legs and fur, I use to sing this to her and night and she'd purr and cuddle up to me

Except she was my dog, at age 13 she died while i was singing this song. i couldnt wake her up to listen. she never heard the last part of the song wchich was her favorite. she would bark and lick my face when I finished but instead she closed her eyes and never opened them. @105diva , we should never try to make others understand. If you are young and still live with them, keep it to yourself at least for now. Christians are the most unlikely to understand Wicca. You do not have to be a christian if you don't want to, but there's no need to fight it either; they're not our enemies and we aren't theirs. Both them and their rituals are dedicated to the same Great Spirit as we are and do; they just do it in a different way. I hope this helps.

@sexydancerinthenight I would realy like to help you but I'm new two and I've only been doing this for a few months. Here's what I know though :

• a book on shadows is an awesome idea. You can make it or just use a notebook or something. I started with a notebook but then I made my own. If you feel like making your own you might wanna search the net for bookbinding techniques.

• the net is a helpfull tool. Search for anything you want to know about. It helps a bunch

• Wands are helpfull too

@sexydancerinthenight also if you have an IPod , podcasts help a lot and there's a bung of stuff on YouTube about it. Just search " Wicca " or you can search that on google and find more stuff.

Books aren't the best if you're still in the broom closet and if you ever need candles just get birthday ones because it's easier to hide :) if you need to hide stuff just get a shoebox or something and stick tissues on it and some slime to make it look like used tissues. (nobody would ever look there)
