Peter how can you say that a Ministry for God Kills? God would never allow a Ministry to Kill anything even a Marriage which he sanctified. Your Music Ministry To God was not what was killing your Marriage, according to what you and your wife said in your Interview, I believe, The true thing that was killing your marriage was the world, materialism. You have amassed wealth, the cares of this world is what was killing your marriage, not your ministry to God. Get back to Gods work Son.

When I saw a live video of "I Know My Redeemer Lives" and saw all the young people praising God it gave me chills and I really became hopeful for my teenage niece. This makes no sense...if they are truly serving the Lord, they would give all their money away to the poor, God does not want you to be rich! Did Jesus not say in the book of Matthew to the rich man to give away everything he owned and follow Jesus? You cannot serve two masters. It's either money or the Lord.

What a difficult situation, I'm sure he absolutely loves his music and the band, but he did the right thing no doubt. In the Bible says that you have to put your spouse first than your own life and needs, Peter is a true man to accept that he was backsliding and not paying attention to his house. I'm sure it was hard to stop but his marriage is worth it, all the blessings in the world to their marriage and family!

Hi Lemoasa, Peter stepped down but will continue to lead the Newsboys. He and his family are returning to Austrailia to care for Peters parents who are elderly.  We will miss him.
