I am a symphonic rock band fan (genesis etc.) But live at pompei is so fantastic; i look and listen almost every day; pompei is well known to me because of my classic education, so, indeed, there is more emotion; there is more, but i don't know it anymore (too old)

this is quite simply the best song ever recorded from the era, period.

the thing that most people dont realise is that this song was played LIVE in this video. most other bands dont even come close to sounding this good in a recording studio, these guys pulled this off under the italian sun in a crumbling amphitheater with 1960's audio technology.
