Turks & Caicos Club, Providenciales. One of the few Grace-Bay Beach hotels that still had a room on such short notice! :-) Thanks for all the compliments by the way, everybody. Much appreciated!!!
Dang Aaron, you should have let a brotha know you were heading down past North Carolina. I live right near the coast and hangar at an airport sligthly inland with some of the cheapest gas. Wallace (KACZ)

I can't wait for the day when I can create a video response to a great video like this! Saw it first at the Sonex workshop over the weekend. You've inspired a lot of people. I started tailwheel training in a Citabria a couple months ago, and hope to be ordering a Sonex kit soon. Until then I'll keep dreaming.
Aaron, you get the Dad award! Great trips - one son at a time. Way to go! When we met at the Sonex workshop, I saw the really young Isaiah and watched him grow up in your videos. Now we see Elisha on the same track. You a building much more than aircraft; you are building memories in your sons. They will never forget. Good for you.

OMG Aaron, you are my idol! Living the dream! Seriously, I may ask you on the Sonex Yahoo Groups list about how you planned a trip like that. Today is 5/1 and I am at the Sonex workshop, so there will be some time before planning but you have set the bar for ultimate Sonex XC trips (east coast, at least)!!
Very nice, hope build my own Sonex one day. What engine did you install and average fuel burn.

Probably about 5 or 6 stops to Abaco Bahamas, 2 or 3 stops to Turks. A day and a half down, day & 1/2 back up.
