@FfantasyF The difference in range (that being the most important factor) aswell as speed and power. If you were after pure speed/priority you would use EX. If you dont have any LP is a decent substitute, but its main purpose is to grab outside of the right in your face range. Getting the exact range is key to any grappler, resulting in a lot of "WTFBULLSHIT!!" from scrubs.

thawk has more tools to get in than gief but when hes pinned without meter he cant really do much

@giograves It's not so bad now I know how to play it better. You can headbutt his dive/spire. His standing hard kick is a BITCH though. Absolutely horrible.

@giograves I am a heavy T Hawk user. And I have never been disappointed when facing Gief. I play a lil closer than this fight but its always fun and usually goes to  3 rounds

@mepaphoros Gief has a lariat so he always has a reversal move. Hawks uppercut only works as a reversal with meter. So I tihnk its fair he can take a slightly bigger beating

Is THawk really necessary? Look how much damage his specials do. Zangief isn't easy to play, and you should not make a grappler that is.
