Dude! Use a push-to-break switch on pins 1&4 (reset) of the 555's, so you get the sound as you push the button, rather than the other way around. Check my hugely modified version of a similar design for an example.
you should totally make a tutorial on how to make one of those man.

hi,
i can recognize my scematic. you plugged the trigger upside down. it is supposed to be a trigger, not a switch to cut the signal.
