  • 10yrs ago My granpop passed me down his collection hes been workin on since 1930.. It was massive and worth well into six figure. But my best feeling of pride came wen i completed my first full set it was of canadian pennys. I got all through cheap foriegn coin boxes at coinshops for 20 cent each. Now through dealing & auctions with inheritance money I could buy any coins I want but Im still working on completing a 1935-1958 wheatie complete set from coins only found circulating. Good luck

  • the 1967 penny is the centenial coin marking the 100TH anniversery of canada with each of the canadian coins having a differnt image on them. the penny as you know has a dove, the nickle has the rabbit, the dime with the fish, the Quarter with the lynx, the half dollar with the wolf and the silver dollar with the canadian goose

  • i got a 1996

  • You asked about why the 1967 penny had a bird on it. In case someone hasen't yet told you about it- The Royal Canadian Mint had a series of coins designed by Alex Colville of Canada made in 1967 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. The penny had a rock dove, rabbit on the nickel, mackerel on dime, lynx on quarter, wolf on 50 cent coin (the 50 cent coin is no longer in circulation) and goose on the loonie. (These are all canadian coins.) I hope this helps you.
