Does anyone know why my Empire Total War demo doesn't work? My specs are much higher than the recommended specs. The main menu is just fine, it's just when I go to a battle of any kind everything messes up. I can see the HUD or whatever but the actually battle is just a blob of stretched points (like in fallout when a deathclaw is bugged out but on a MUCH larger scale.) on people and stuff, i can bearly see the grass and I can't see my units at all. I also had this problem with the Shogun 2 demo

You can´t get bored playing this game because everytime you get a different bug, I played like 10 hours and I was stil watching new bugs, flyin soldiers... allied shooting me... crazy units running without orders... and the sieges, ah... the sieges...

I agree with Bailor, I have yet to encounter any bugs with the game other than the ridiculous Auto Win requirements (and I'm playing as Austria). It is not a horrible game but not necessarily what we thought it would be. Also, if you can't play on Hard with the patches, you can always lower the difficulty. I know, it's a crazy idea to use common sense.

It's just that when you play on hard/very hard the game stops being a sandbox game.

I think you're underestimating the difficulty of the task at hand.

You're buying a several million dollar product, that you happen to get a license for. The scale of building something like this, since supposedly it's an in house engine that they just developed, they may not have worked out all the kinks yet.

Koshy, I can appreciate what you are trying to say, but the bottom line is that you are trying to give reasons as to why the product isn't perfect. The issue is that if I sell you anything sub standard, shouldn't you (as a company) at the very least, have a damaged reputation? What If I sold you a brand new motorcycle that worked reasonably well, but you just have to slow down to 20 when making left turns otherwise the engine will shut off.
