@IngvanyeVanyarin Aww it fills my heart with joy to see such a bright soul think so fondly of a pitch black soul like me. Gratitude, buddy. Oh my, was it 6 months ago already since I thought up the pun "Eyes, eyes, baby eyes"? I've been thinking whether or not to make an animated music video about it. What do you think?

Everytime I see a baby I have this agonizingly strong urge to crush its skull with a sledgehammer. Or maybe I'd play the song "Ice, ice baby" and rip the eyes of the baby out and then dance around with the eyes, singing "eyes, eyes, baby eyes!"
u think after 2 years after loseing my daughters i would be able to watch this video without crying but its still so hard to watch this pain will never leave me i wish i would stop crying
So this song has always made me cry. These Enterprise episodes made me cry. Put them together? I'm kind of a mess over here. lol. Beautiful, beautiful video though, what a great tribute.
@hakuluvr2 The baby was created from their DNA by a group of human terrorists that wanted to show what would happen if aliens and humans were to coexist (they thought it was a bad thing). The baby (Elizabeth), however, had a flaw in her DNA and she did not survive for long :(
a great tribute to T'Pol and Trip and their baby ... if she was to die then T'pol and Trip should have been together in the last episode with another child of their own watching Archer walk up those steps and without all the hologram scenes. A tribute to the entire crew of Enterprise!
Just watched the episode. Damn. I looked at T'Pol's reaction and was reminded of a line from an episode of Voyager talking about how Vulcans seemingly are cold, even when grieving. To paraphrase: "Inside her is a heart that is breaking more than you'll ever know. But she cannot show it. Because that's what it means to be Vulcan." What a terribly sad episode. The death of one's child is the greatest pain anyone could ever know.
Basically a terrorist group called terra prime found a way to engineer a hybrid using Trip and T'pol's dna and were using the baby to spread fear and hatred of anyone who wasn't human and say that there wouldn't be any pure humans left blah blah. Trip and T'pol found a way to get there baby but since they kind of rushed the process the baby that the two named elizabeth didn't survive very long. Horrible gut churning sadness follows.
First of all, the song ITSELF wipes me out, and did even before I became a father. The scene from Dumbo leaves me a blubbering ruin every time I see it.
There are a handful of Trek scenes that wipe me out; the death of Elizabeth is one of them. The end of "Requiem for Methuselah" gets me, as does the climax to "Duet" and the very last scene of DS9 (poor Jake). There's a scene in "The Empath" that makes me break down even to think of it.
This episode of Enterprise has one of my favorite bits of dialogue. When the bad guy, talking about the baby, refers to her as "it," Tucker shoots him a killing glance and says sharply, his voice whetted to a fine edge by moral disgust, "She's not an `it.'" My boys LOVED that exchange, just as we loved how later in the ep, Trip -- knowing he was over-matched, and not caring -- slugged his hulking bodyguard right in the chops.
Yes it was a stupid way to end the show! I mean if it had to end that way they could've picked someone else to die Like Malcolm (who didn't have a love interest at all in any of the seasons)and if it did happen that way it mite have left it a cliffhangar with Trip & T'pol but at least that would be better than Trip dying.
OMG I'm crying! this was beautiful, but so sad! Poor Trip, T'Pol and Elizabeth... :'(

@trekkiechickable Actually, the baby was created without their consent - their DNA was stolen.

Nope, she was never pregnant.

@BigOlBoxOCrayons They couldn't do that, because it's been established many times that Spock was the first human/Vulcan hybrid.
